I'm just guessing, but I bet the source on this is not the Brewers, Brewers generally do a very good job of keeping things in-house until a trade/signing actually happens and they have nothing to gain by leaking it. More likely Donaldson's agent leaked something to drum up more interest in his client and it could be an exaggeration. So I don't think this getting out necessarily says anything about how the Brewers feel about BA. Although ... his lack of PT lately probably tells us all we need to know. I still don't want Donaldson tho. There's a video circulating of his baserunning errors form the last couple years and it's ... not good.
