  1. If Hardy does go, would Escobar get the call? Gamel? Irribarren?
  2. Jon Heyman mentions the Brewers as a possible destination for him on MLB Tonight a few minutes ago. Mets are less likely now that they signed Sheff.
  3. Do not bat Cameron leadoff, but I do think he slots very well in the bottom of the order. Also, (and not to get to far off topic) the Padres can have TGJ, but I am wary of Peavy. A little birdie told me most clubs believe he is going to get injured this season and that's why the Padres are trying to move him, but the risk might be worth the reward depending on what we'd give up. Overall, I like the move and hope TGJ is traded.
  4. PLEASE pinch hit for Kendall in the 9th inning even if its with Mike Rivera. He's so cold right now.
  5. Cameron already had his hit today so he needed another K there. ESPN just broke into the Cubs rain delay game and showed the Fielder clip. Showalter said they team is obviously feeling it after that Cubs series.
  6. My friend who works for the team often talks about Fielder's temper. Apparently the littlest thing sets him off and it happens all the time. Obviously he has "dad issues", but as my friend says its more than that. He never appears happy in the clubhouse or around the ballpark. The word is just say out of the dude's way or he could go off. Maybe Manny just got in his way...(of a Twinkie as someone mentioned earlier)
  7. Too bad there haven't been any runners on base when Cameron and Braun hit their homers.
  8. I'd like to see Kendall be pinch hit for once late in a game. Even if its Rivera...
  9. Mota is so good. I'm glad he is in the game.
  10. 6-0? Game over. McClung out of the pen = crap. McClung starting a game = noncrap.
  11. Parra, Bush and Suppan for the Crew in Cincy, anyone know who the Reds are putting on the hill?
  12. The Angels-Yankees game is much more interesting on TBS.
  13. At least it will be easier to hit homeruns out at Great American against the Reds. Its the only way the Brewers can score.
  14. This is the 3RD TIME the Brewers are seeing Campillo this season and the guy still has the hitters off balance. Isn't it the hitting coach's job to go over a scouting report on the guy? They have the same awful approach as they always do! Stranding runners at 3rd with less than two outs is my biggest pet peeve with this team.
  15. Ausmus 4-4 batting 8th for the Astros, weak. This game is over because we won't get any baserunners because everyone will go up trying to jack one. Sad.
  16. Fielder is not 0-8 in the series, awful.
  17. Wow, Carlos Lee has NO range. I'm glad the Stros payed him and not us!
  18. Haudricourt, "And, unbelievably, Suppan is back out to pitch the sixth. You figure it out. I can't."
  19. Suppan is still out there in the 6th!!!
  20. Brian Anderson, "It will be an interesting post game press conference. Interesting to see what Ned has to say since he had McClung ready to go in the bullpen." Or something to that effect.
  21. Why would Yost need to "save the bullpen" with starts by CC and Sheets coming up the next two days? Simply moronic on Ned's part not to take Soup out at any point during that SEVEN run inning.
