Ideally Ned would like to break camp with 12 pitchers and 13 position players. 5 starters, 5 solid righties out of the pen and 2 lefties out of the pen. Shouse and then either Stetter or Choate if they have good springs. All questions will be answered during ST.

I think the first caller was drunk.

While Estrada alone did not cost us a win yesterday, he has been disappointing in several situations. I still say batting Estrada 5th is a the wrong place for him and Hall better be batting in that spot in tomorrow night's lineup. Either Hall or Hart in the 5 spot. Jason

Finally! I have been displeased with Estrada for a while now. I'm also displeased that he is still batting 5th! He's no protection for Prince and he rarely gets a hit in big RBI/RISP situations. Last night was also a prime example of just how slow the guy is. He cannot throw out basestealers, cannot run, cannot drive in runs and won't take a pitch to save his soul (or the team's chances of winning!). Once Billy Hall comes back the lineup better change! Powell mentioned that even though Aquino's ERA was 0.00 he had let 4 of 5 inherited runners score prior to tonight's meltdown. In a critical situation he completely blew it. If what Powell said is correct he's let 6 of 8 inherited runners score so far this season and that is unacceptable IMO. Jason

Saw this article about the Marlin's being interested in Capellan as a possible solution to their bullpen mess. The article states that the Brewers are asking a lot in return so it probably won't happen, but its new news. Here's the link: www.sun-sentinel.com/spor...ts-marlins Jason

Does anyone know if ST games are broadcast on XM satellite radio? The feed from MLB.com is horrible quality. Jason

www.boston.com/sports/bas...er/?page=5 This article from the Boston Globe mentions the Brewers, Rangers and Padres still showing interest in the Phillies veteran pitcher. If this rumor is true and the Brewers do acquire Lieber for say...the Phillies desired setup man & Mench(?) does that mean that Vargas becomes the long-man out of the pen? A 1-5 Rotation of: Sheets Capuano Suppan Bush Lieber would be awesome! Has anyone else heard this rumor surface recently? Jason The SOUP is ON!
