    On defense, Davison reminds me of Ricky Olson. He has that lateral quickness to get legal guarding position that is crucial to drawing the charge. He not at the Olson level yet but he is getting pretty darn close.

    Day game after an extra inning night game. Not too much of a surprise.

    Travel ball had nothing to do with the end of WIAA summer ball. There weren't enough schools interested in playing summer baseball to warrant a tournament series. The WIAA has minimums for sports to have a tournament series and summer baseball fell below that number.

    20 miles is the farthest in one outing for me. It's not that hard if you pace yourself.

    Danny Thomas. At one time some thought he would be the better Thomas on the Brewers. (The other being Gorman) Unfortunately, mental health issues forced him from the game.

    The only thing Garza can do is pitch. He can't hit, bunt or field his position.

    The Counsell decision making has been atrocious the last month. He doesn't seem to have a very good feel for the game. He manages like he used to hit, same bad batting stance over and over and over.
