  1. One thing that I think everyone is forgetting is that if the Brewers get on a roll, it is pretty easy to get players through waivers in August. It doesn't hurt to wait a week to see if it can be turned around. Plus, in August you don't have to give up as much.
  2. 0-2 pitch with two outs. You just know Parra is going to give up a hit.
  3. I never could decide if Parra's problem was that he had no guts or that he had no brain. I've come to the conclusion that it is both.
  4. Good Grief. If I was there, I'd be booing too. This pitching staff is atrocious.
  5. Way too many pitches for Parra in the first. He'll be lucky to get through 5 at this rate.
  6. Buehrle finally walks a guy with two outs in the 5th. He retired 45 batters in a row. Next batter singles to center and the no hitter is gone and I have to go back to watching the Nationals crush the Brewers.
  7. Been flipping back and forth between this fiasco and the Twins/White Sox game. Buehrle is perfect through the fifth.
  8. The way they are playing, the march won't stop at .500.
  9. Halladay isn't coming to Milwaukee. We might as well get used to it.
  10. 8 pitch first inning. That should help get Looper deeper into the game.
  11. Joe Lahoud, the guy who hit the first foul ball that I ever caught at a MLB game.
  12. If it's not the last scoring the Reds do, I don't like our chances.
  13. It seems like Harang is throwing to a much larger strike zone than Parra is.
  14. What is up with our inabilty to get out any Reds hitter hitting less than .200?
  15. Way to go Manny. I'll be happy if he can give us 5 good innings after throwing 31 pitches in the first.
  16. Why else would Cameron be sliding way out there if his intent wasn't to break up a double play? It's all about Cameron's intent.
  17. It's interference because of where Cameron started his slide. If you slide to the base it is okay. Cameron started his slide on top of the base and went 5 or 6 feet past it to get the fielder. It was an obvious call. The fact that there was no chance to get Braun at first doesn't make any difference. It was a bonehead play by Cameron. A veteran should know better than that. Most high school players know better than that.
  18. Reread the rule, Jeffy. Cameron's intent was to break up the double play. That means when interference is called it is a DP. Whether they would have gotten the out at first is immaterial. Be mad at Cameron, not the ump. He got it right.
