If Gagne comes off of the DL on Saturday, as assumed, who will be sent down to Triple-A? Defelice? Stetter? Edit: Please do not use ambiguous titles. Clarity is good. - Toby

Looks like this, just with the white in front. http://images.620wtmj.com/images/620wtmj_121807packershatjs.JPG

Does anyone know where one could buy a Green Bay Packers skull cap, similar to the one that Brett Favre would always wear during cold games? I'm thiniking of the cap with a majority of yellow, and a white border near the bottom. My father really wants one, and we can't find them anywhere (even on the packers online store). any help would be appreciated.

I don't see what is so bad about Tavarez. I mean, in his seasons with the Cardinals he was almost lights out. Especially in 2004: W L ERA G SV SVO IP H R ER HR BB K 2004 St. Louis Cardinals 7 4 2.38 77 4 6 64.1 57 21 17 1 6 19 48 Besides his age, he still can throw low nineties with insane movement on the fastball. That is one nasty sinker.

Why was Jeffress removed after cruising through 5 innings? Are they trying to ease him back from suspension? Great to see this from Jeremy.

I'm trying to update an accurate roster for the Sounds and Stars through MLB 07 The Show by creating our minor league players. Players' height, weight, jersey number, etc. are easily accessible, and I have gathered most of them. But I was wondering...do any of you know the kind of stuff that these pitchers throw?? Like types of pitches, velocity, movement, and control of their pitches. Any help would be graciously welcomed. And it would just be nice to know what we could be potentially be seeing within the next few months (Luis Pena?)

But most of our pen is only signed through 2008, so drafting a college closer would make sense.

I really like Pena too, and hope his closer-esque arm can make it with the Brew out of ST

What about including Joe Dillon? He has no future here, being a 3B, as Braun plays there. Dillon's AAA Stats: .320 AVG, 20 HR, 73 RBI, 49 BB/32 K, .409 OBP, .611 SLG, 1.017 OPS A package of Dillon, Gwynn, Zach Jack, T-Bow? Dillon, Aquino, Zach Jack, T-Bow?

When the Brew faced Texas this year, was it Benoit with the nasty changeup that had batters almost throwing out their backs? Or am i thinking of someone else?

I thought I heard Brian/Bill say on an FSN broadcast that Parra throws a split-fingered fastball. With Parra throwing the split, I can't think of another recent Brewer pitcher with a splitter. Does anyone know of one?

At least Capellan had some nice movement on his fastball tonight. Did any one else think that? It looked as if his fastball was moving in on righties, like a 2-seam. He also had nice velocity and tight break on his slider.

Two Brewers, I listen to and enjoy Phish without the use of any drugs. If you like Umphrey's McGee, you should check out moe.
  15. wcswimmer712
Is anyone else here a Phish appreciator? Or enjoys jam bands of any sort? All of my friends think Phish sucks and that they are dull, lame, etc. But I think Phish are awesome , anyone else?

Why was Matt Wise not brought in instead of Aquino? And after last nights game, when Aquino allowed those runners on base to score. I think i am correct, but didn't matt not pitch yesterday? So why did Ned not bring him in?

It has been reported that the Giants expressed interest in Capellan. What about Capellan for Taschner? He is a relatively young lefty, can be used like Brian Shouse. Also a local boy, being from Milwaukee. Would the giants give up Taschner?

Wow. I was just looking at the Dodger Blue forums, and wow is all i can say. They are beating the pulp out of their team after 1 game. They bash decisions to put Lowe in opening day, and the whole team. Not to mention their sour language.
  19. wcswimmer712
Do you think the Brewers will keep Rottino around to plug him in at 3B while Braun seasons? Other than that, that looks like the lineup we would see in regular season (minus DH)
  20. wcswimmer712
I wonder who the Brewers would ask for? A relief pitcher? Infielder?
  21. wcswimmer712
    How did Yo's stuff look?
  22. wcswimmer712
Adams would be a nice pick up for some minor league depth. Wasn't he pretty good in his 2004 or 2005 season?
  23. wcswimmer712
    1. Angel Salome--looking for adequate progression 2. Mike Jones/Parra hopefully they can both recover some of their pre-injury form 3. Tim Dillard-- The Brewer minor league pitcher of the year in 2005 (i think), looking for '05 numbers 4. Jeremy Jeffress the brewers round 1 pick in 2006. Hopefully he can progress well. 5. Yohannis Perez what kind of skills does he posses
  24. wcswimmer712
Just heard that Kotsay did something to his back and could miss up to 3 months. Maybe we could ship Mench to Oakland for?

Does anyone know any important information on Vince? Like where did we get him come from, his pitch repetoire, his ceiling, chances of becoming a good major leaguer. I'm sorry, but i don't know anything about him.
