  1. Fermaint to High A? didn't see that coming...
  2. i've always pulled for brandon gemoll and kade johnson...they seem like they've been in the system for a looooong time...actually, they have... and so i mourn their exits... but welcome back Matt Yeatman! that's a pleasant flashback, eh?
  3. good stuff, but i think it would be cool to have that list---maybe hyper linked or just outlined---and like a paragraph of how each works, how each is different from the others, importance of, and how they prove that Keith Ginter was the greatest brewer of all time
  4. perhaps we can convince al, or russ or someone to write up a glossary of definitions that could be pinned at the top of this forum
  5. I'd take vinny over sorensen or abernathy...but, i think he could use some AAA...I think he's up to stay later in the year..
  6. i think the easy ones would be guys that could close, except there's a better closer in front of them...like dustin hermanson, danys baez, kyle farnsworth.. other than that, you just kind of have to gauge it as the season goes one
  7. you should hit up patrick and see if he has any brewerfan.com shirts left...that's a good prize...
  8. hey, simpsons got a big fastball...add in a cutter and you've got the makings of a mike maddux reliever... can't hurt to have this guy in AAA
  9. FUKUDOME!!!!!!!! Sorry. I'm glad to get some evidence that he's real. Now maybe people won't think my T-shirt is a joke.
  10. I'm not quite sure how to get to the store anymore... and yes, throw another logo on the black shirt because i've already got one with the mascot logo on it
  11. bullox, your picture is a wee bit disturbing
  12. funny that you mention that...when i read about the signing i looked at his signings...i thought he had gotten a large amount of at bats with some team at some point...i thought i remembered him getting like 400 ab's with the dodgers...but nope, 191 total... weird... maybe i have him mixed up with someone else...jason repko?
  13. don, i seriously suggest you think about what you post before you post it...i believe sometimes you get carried away... as for this subject, it needs to be dropped...and really shouldnt have been brought up in the first case
  14. Unless, of course, you're an ezBoard supporter... then it doesn't cost Brian money. Correct? first off, you are very wrong. Brian pays for everything that is brewerfan.net...we pay for the message boards...he pays for the rets...servers, computers, etc...so you are just plain wrong. secondly, don't dare call people out on weather they are ezsupporters are not...what is the point of that??? this is insanely immature.
  15. i want that jersey! so, i'm in
  16. i can't believe he's only 26...he's still got plenty of time (and opportunity) to have a 5-10 year run in the majors....unbelievable...
  17. don't we need a full time paid employee???
  18. I have a countdown clock on my desktop... oh crap, what's it say now??? can't wait..
  19. nope, you nailed it...that guy...the guy who still owns it... it was a confusing day, but everyone found dot.net...and brieflydot.org
  20. I just think he's the next star for the Atlanta Braves that will characterize that organization much like Chipper Jones has over the last decade. hopefully he will do it with more class than larry wayne has...
  21. holy crap...didn't realize i'd been sitting in this chair for 5 straight years....maybe i better get a job or something... seriously though, it just doesn't seem like 5 years...

  24. it would be pretty cool to get house in AAA...but we are pretty much out of slots down there... Melvin is excellent at getting these major league ready replacements at C in AAA...i just wish he would use one of them and fire moeller out of a cannon
