  1. I think it's fair to say that K Rod doesn't have it tonight. Let's go RR, get him out of the game and keep this thing at a one run deficit.
  2. Ha. Thanks Torts. I was getting down there for a second.
  3. I am happy this AM because StL lost last night to the Dodgers and we are still in first place for at least another day.
  4. Well I don't think that the caught stealing is on Weeks on that one actually. IMO RR should not be sending a guy in that situation when you already have one of the fastest guys in the league in scoring position at second. I know it could have potentially broken up the DP but it was a momentum changer.
  5. It would be really nice to get a win and a series win today, but it sure doesn't seem like it's in the cards. Today could be the first day of the season where we are not in first place at the end of the night.
  6. Some good defense on both sides in the first.
  7. I may have missed it but haven't seen any updates on this yet. I am guessing that he flew to CIN today to be examined by Reds doctors. Could be interesting.
  8. Yeah guys. That was a joke. I just remember being on this site and reading about the hatred directed at the Happy Youngster who was also posting here at the time. Thought it would sort of be a funny memory for those that were on here four or five years ago.
  9. Not sure how serious this is, and I am not wishing for it, but it looked like Chapman had a hamstring injury in the ASG tonight.
  10. I doubt he'd be happy playing here considering the Happy Youngster made him give up half of his salary and his first two children in exchange for his first career home run ball when he hit it in Milwaukee.
  11. Without looking it up I think that ChiSox trade was with the Giants and involved CHI sending Danny Darwin, Roberto Hernandez, and Wilson Alvarez to SF.
  12. I think the real wild card for the second half is Segura. I have no idea (and cannot even begin to comprehend) how he's doing right now. I can only imagine that he will go one of two ways: he will either be gone for an extended amount of time to get his life and family in order or he comes back more focused on baseball than ever in order to get past the tragedy that just occurred. Both are understandable and as much as I want to win and think that he is a big part of that happening, I hope he does what's best for him.
  13. Torts, I believe your optimism single-handedly carried us in the second half of 2012 when we made a run. Let's hope we recover and carry on now as well.
  14. Walking the lefty to load the bases seems like a good strategy.
  15. So we have Ramirez and Gomez as starters. Excited to see how many guys we end up with this year.
  16. Not sure. I am just saying that RR was out of the game at that point. It's conceivable that it wasn't him though I am not saying it's likely.
  17. For what it's worth, RR was already ejected and Narron was managing at that point in the game.
  18. What sucks is that if Kintzler walks him it doesn't matter in the least.
