This stupid thread has lasted way longer than I thought was ever possible. On a brighter note, I went to Jimmy John's today. The dude who made my sandwich threw it to the cashier. Cashier was not looking and got my slim 5 slammed into his head. good sandwich none the less.

Call me a bad fan. Call me a quitter. I've been with this team through thick and thin since the 1970's when I started watching baseball. I never gave up. I always stayed with the club. All my friends gone, family gone. I really have reached a point of disgust. I don't watch religiously anymore, sometimes I don't even check the score. All this has happened this year. I don't think I'm going to a home game until Doug Melvin is fired. I believe Melvin has created such a disaster that it's made me want him gone. I really do not see me regaining interest anytime soon, even with a few wins. Early in the season? Yup, it is. I guess that this year, I like swift and serious. No waiting.

Got the ol' car washed the other day. It was clean maybe 15 minutes before a bird crapped on it. Next day I got rear ended at a stop light.

I had pericarditis once. Put me in the hospital for a week. It made my heart go out of rhythm for a while. It would hurt my chest, I'd get really dizzy, pretty weak. I had to take blood thinners for a while, some other medicine for a while. I needed to wear a heart monitor for a week after I got out of the hospital too. Kinda scary at times. I felt like I was having a heart attack all the time. I came close to needing to be defibrillator blasted to bring me back into rhythm, but luckily I didn't need it. I had to take it kind of easy for a while. According to what I read, DD's is not quite as severe as mine was, although it's still scary to go through it. He should be fine, just needs to take it easy for a bit.
