Yeah, that link was a bit untraditional (IMO) as far as scoring, but it was a starting point. Perhaps a few folks could point out links they find descent to teach scoring? Maybe we could even have a couple guys score tonight's game so folks that want to learn can see some variations.

What would happen if I started to post only negative points about the Brewers from now on? With our increasing membership brings more personalities and more views that may differ from your own. Let's for a minute pretend that any one at all came down the lane and just said things he thought should be improved with the team. Is he/she no longer wanted around here? I would like to commend bucksman for his willingness to stick to his guns with his debate, no matter how easily defeatable his points were. In that IGT bucksman -did- come along and state his opinions, took on the counterpoints and tried to answer them. He never took a shot at anyone to that point, but was fired upon be several. I think that is rather sad. That's not what this site is about. I'd like to ask that if you feel someone is so horrid that they are just looking for trouble you inbox a moderator and state your case. I'd also ask that we all refrain from getting childish and sticking our tongues out at eachother. If someone bugs you, do not give them the satisfaction of showing it. Ignore them.

Yes. I'm pretty sure Bonds won't get 22 PA per game in Milw. I apologize, I didn't mean to cause any problems. I'll delete the post. No reason to have deleted it. I was just messing around. On the other hand, I think he'd need all 44 PA in one game since he most likely won't play Thursday's day game. Although, Shawn Green did come close one time....

#756 (if it ever happens) is a ball I'd hang onto so I can sell the thing. Even if I only got a grand for the thing, it's still a thousand bucks I didn't have. I couldn't care less about keeping Bonds' record HR ball. It means nothing to me.

It's quite easy to learn. As a matter of fact, I'm almost positive the Brewers website has a tutorial on it. Try keeping score in an IGT, people can suggest their favorite way to score and help you along if you have questions. Pretty simple. 1= P 2= C 3= 1b 4= 2b 5= 3b 6= SS 7= RF 8= CF 9= RF (or for softball, outfield goes like this: 7 LF, 8LC, 9 RC, 10 RF)

Jimbo- I've got a scorebook for you. Remind me to give it to ya at the first game. It's the team's scorebook I bought when I purchased practice balls. I guess lineups will be taken care of before each game. What do you guys think about asking players to show 20 minutes before gametime? Anyone showing after that time gets added to the bottom of the order. (This enables me to have a lineup by gametime)

I get lots of good BF.Net ideas to implement when I'm drunk. I just came up with two of them. Watch for new stuff in the Off Topic forum and IGT's. IGT's should bet game ending stats or box scores. Off Topic should get a "Where were You when?" threads based on history or baseball games. I could go back and capitilize those two words in the thread title, but backspace key is way over there and a tough finger reach, so skip it. Besides, I'm drunk. Oh, and I had Pabst. Been a long time since I hit the ol' GP homeland. I had fun.
