    What can you say - the Brewers are the Brewers. Nothing we can do about that. Actually what is firing Ned Yost going to do? Maybe get us a quick 2 or 3 game winning streak before the team goes right back to their 15 year funk? This team CANNOT stand up against good pitchers. It was definitely shown on the big road trip. I think if you look through all the games that a quality pitcher has come up against them they have struggled to hit the baseball. I can only wish the Brewers finish this trip 2-7. EMBARRASSING. I don't care about Verlander or what he did I am a BREWERS fan. Now how do I make a signature saying - Suffering since 1993?

Yost is beyond belief in his assessment of his free-falling team. Unbelievable! There's no other way to react to that quote. Yost is living a lie. Come on Ned I figured you to be a smarter manager than that. sigh.

    Rydogg you and Rluz are buddy ol' pals I see. TOO BAD!!!!! The Crew is living on BORROWED TIME. History is ugly but necessary the Crew are just doing what they do best, LOSE! Unfortunately Cordero is human and decided to drop one on us all tonight. sigh.... I don't blame him for this at all. The Crews offense is PATHETIC. It should not have come to this. Since the Brewers were 24-10 the hitting has been spotty at best. It's really sad. Poor Cordero, I am waiting for all the morons to start calling for his head. Did anyone notice how Turnbow flat out DOMINATED the Rangers tonight? Guess not.. (sarcasm) 2-7 roadtrip is OPTIMISM. What say you Rluz???

    Rluz, dude I said it FIRST! The Brewers are likely to be BELOW .500 and out of 1st place come the end of next weekend. The Crew SUCKS! Bill Hall got his money and now he is a NO-SHOW. Hmm, has this ever happened before? lol! JJ Hardy (bless his soul) is starting to make a RAPID descent back to the face of mother earth. Chris Capuano, oh geez I won't even go there. The only GOOD thing with this fall back to reality is the bandwagon jumpers are starting to disappear. The so-called I've always been a Brewer fan and know all there is to know about the franchise folks. (makes me want to puke!) Let me say I have seen a lot of these folks over the last month and a half at my local watering hole. They're like cockroaches, crawling out of the woodwork. They would look at me and my Brewers cap and start spewing off how great the Crew is and claim to know all. No matter if they were almost always inaccurate in their assessments. sigh. Good riddance. If you do come back make sure you do your homework. Ok I see the Crew somehow winning tomorrow. Good lord. sigh!

    Gol dang it this team is REVERTING! You read it here. This team is NO DIFFERENT than last years team. For some odd reason they found away to win 24 games early. Since then they have won 9 games! Good grief. I am saying it now, the Brewers will be lucky to be over .500 and in first place by the end of next weekend.     Hello Brian, Thank you for this post. I think it was long overdue. I find myself wanting to unsub from this forum completely at times. What I really like about Brewerfan is knowledgable fans and great insightful conversation regarding everything that is the Milwaukee Brewers. Ok now you need to give a similar critique to our current version of the Milwaukee Brewers. Lord knows they need it. :-)

    Ok, didn't want to start another thread so I thought I would place this little rant right here in the VENT receptacle. Umm, Mark Belling is calling Ryan Braun, 'RYAN BROWN'. Hello?? For someone who probably shouldn't even talk sports on his show he is doing our top prospect a disservice. Do we have anybody by the name of Ryan Brown in our organization? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Oh and he mispronouced his last name at least 8 times during his discussion.     So Mr. "soap opera boy" Capuano gets a pass?? He is stinking up the joint! He needs a good skipping in the rotation to get his head straight. How in the world does he start 5-0 and then forget how to pitch?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif And the fact Counsell and Graffanino were both in the line-up together is INEXCUSABLE!!! If you want to give Hardy a day off then move Hall to 3B and put Gwynn in CF for that game only. Also, BILL HALL IS NOT A CLEAN-UP HITTER! :-( He needs an attitude adjustment bigtime! Just by watching him so far this season, he thinks my stuff don't stink just bring it. Well they are bringing it and making him look foolish. grrrr!!!! Spit some more Billy Hall - it looks great.     Hey we lost last night but still have a 5 1/2 game lead. But how long will this last? I got nothing but bad juju about this team. The game Monday night was a killer. Just hope I am not letting history get in the way of my judgement. I think this team is going to start falling back to the pack and before you know it wondering what they will do for 2008. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif The Starting pitching, notably Capuano, is starting to make my stomach queezy! What is Cappy's deal?? He always comes out blazing and usually keeps it going to about the All-Star break. This season it appears he is starting to flame in May. Sigh beginning to look like >reality< is starting to set in again. The one good thing is all the bandwagoneers will start going away.

    The GOOD - The 'FEEL GOOD' crowd getting their collective orgasm taken away from them in the 7th inning when first Weeks walks, and then JJ hits his 13th homer of the season. :-) The BAD - Watching the Phillies fans acting like the jerks they are during the proceeding 6 innings before the Brewers took away theirs and the other happy happy's "feel goodism" away from them. The UGLY - 4 game losing streak and only a 4 1/2 lead left in the division. The game Monday night has opened the floodgates up for another Brewers swoon. Don't understand why after 14 straight years of losing this team still can't learn how to win or put up their dukes. :-(

    Oh geez, lol!!! Prince had one play only, and that was FIRST BASE! Had he taken the out the Brewers would still be down a run. There was no way a double-play would have been turned on the ground ball that was hit to him. The bullpen did not get the job done tonight. It's sad but true. Now I want to see all the Turnbow haters come out. Come on, where are you all? The Phillies did what they had to at HOME. I would hope in a similar situation the Brewers would do the same.     Oh, Cappy should have been called up period. Because of his CHILDISH behavior he got the cold shoulder. But if Spurling keeps the crap up you can guarantee that Cappy will be here very SOON! :-)

    Still can't believe how gaga the media was 2 Fridays ago. Lol! 10 in a row is in the near future and I don't see any light at the end of that tunnel. :-( Carlos Lee anyone? Too bad we can't even use the closer that came in that ill-fated deal. Sigh another wonderful collapse by the Brewers. Someone wake me up when this nightmare is over.

    Yeah, the ump overdid it on the 'OUT' call. Wonder what that was all about? The play wasn't even close but the ump made it seem like Clark was at the bag when the ball got there. Good for Cirillo, he went and stuck up for Brady. And maybe the most promising development of the night so far, Robin Yount is now the acting manager. Too bad we just lost our best hitter but it was worth it. That ump was being a complete jerk.

    So why can't the Brewers go to a 4 man rotation from here on out? Why is it so necessary to have a 5 man rotation? I was out watching the game last night and when I saw Obermueller was starting today's game I told a guy it's a sure loss. Once the season is over I hope Melvin gives Obermueller his release. He just isn't that good. Phew, they lost 7-0. I watched the Badgers game and only saw the score of the game scroll on the bottom.     Holy cow!!! Ok, Helling goes 7 solid innings. Wise pitches a beautiful 8th. Eveland just STRUGGLED big time in the 9th. So why did Yost leave the lefty in vs. Bagwell????!!!!!!!! Oh, this is just plain INEXCUSABLE! The bullpen was fresh. Anyone remember we won 14-2 yesterday? Kane Davis vs. Bagwell would have been more acceptable. Anyone want to re-start the fire Yost chant? I can happily Picture in Picture the whole thing. Except they aren't showing the Brewers game on Fox. sigh... Btw, Jeff Cirillo is back in the starting lineup. What took so long?
