    Yikes! I won't be able to make it to the FanFest this year either. I mean, I will be at the game Tailgating on the 24th, but...... (It just seems that way with Mark Smith, Jason Conti, and Pete Z playing every day.) < Geez, was I wrong? Al? Shane Nance is not a major league caliber pitcher. I caught Ueck's call tonight of Finley's homer and he was almost apathetic in his call. He didn't even give the score since he knew the mini-man had blown another one. Go back to AAA or Independent ball Shane. Until you get an arm like Billy Wagner you just aren't going to cut it up in the majors.     Good game tonight. I was there to see Luis in person. Wow, was he nervous. I do not recall seeing a pitcher leave the mound and carry his hat around like Luis did. The poor guy almost made Shane Nance look good. (read down for my tirade) Fortunately, Luis didn't get the loss. Brewers 'battled' back 2 or 3 times tonight to get that game. Wow, Brady almost had a cycle. It appeared Pods and Ginter were trying for extra base-hits to make it easier for Mr Clutch to get that single. Pods rode it all the way to the track in dead center. Have to say we haven't missed a beat in the 3 hole since Jenkins went down. Shane Nance.... Ponder the AAA special. I wish they could send him back down again. This guy just doesn't learn. Gives up a bomb and a solid single in 1/3 of an inning. He wasn't fooling anyone tonight. Bench the bum for the remainder of the season please, Ned! For those who listened on radio or watched on Cable, what was the take on Rusch basically loafing it to first base on that little grounder in front of home plate? I did my best to make sure my feelings were felt by Brewers. I was sitting behind homeplate 9 rows up and was looking right at the Brewers coaches on the dugout stairs as I booed. What a freakin joke! The rich boy didn't want to run. Makes it easier for the Brewers to decline on picking up that option. 14 of 16 games won. Kolb 16 straight saves.     Gotta love those Bucketheads. I am watching the game and the fans around homeplate are just sitting on their hands. Egad, show a pulse! Eddie rips a opposite field double and the bucketheads show the love, the rest of the fans look like Milwaukee Bucks season ticket holders. lol!     I forgot the game was on.. I was to busy watching the Packers win. And a comeback win at that. I got curious during halftime and switched over to Fox Sports North only to find the game had ended in another uninspiring 7-1 loss. Geez, 45-71 and going south in a hurry. But hey, they are giving away Paul Molitor bobbleheads tomorrow at the ballpark. I am going to drag my butt out of bed and get down there for one.     Wow, the eternal optimists of this board continue to awe me with their love of losing. Yeah, let's get that #1 pick overall baby. Come on losing 100 games ain't so bad. Hell, we could repeat! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif Then the Brewers Marketing Guru's could put together a campaign to bring out the fans bragging about how pathetic their team really is. And the kicker, they could add the tagline, "We're playing for the #1 pick in the draft! It's all coming together at Miller Park." Make me barf. I am so sick of this whole prospect, draft talk. Plain and simple we are supposed to already have a major league team in Milwaukee. At one time a lot of these guys were well thought of prospects/draft picks. They just aren't playing well. I want to see them shoot for 70 wins instead of some kid out of H.S. or College. Heck, if they could get their acts together they could pass Cinncy in the standings.
