  1. Susac surely doesn't help the strike calls. Santana. Wow.
  2. There is. I look at it sometimes if im looking to bet an over/under.
  3. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-dodgers-have-played-with-the-friendliest-strike-zone/ This is pretty interesting showing home plate calls may not actually even out.
  4. I've posted the link a few times...but the Brewers tend to get a lot of bad calls from the home plate umpire.
  5. I'd imagine he, if things go right, would be pitching a few innings. Limit the effort and save some energy That surely could be true.
  6. Yea...couple of not hard hit balls through the infield.
  7. It looked like he may have slowed heading to second then started up again once Buxton bobbled it off the wall.
  8. I see the 2nd pitch to Molina was too good to call a strike eh?
  9. They could shorten the season. I saw our high school kids out practicing and was shocked at how early it started...then I remembered one of the reasons I quit when I was a sophmore.
  10. Not really. If he gets thrown out we have arcia, pinch hitter, and villar... And if he makes it the tying run is in scoring position. Waiting for runs to happen on their own hasn't worked well for us lately. Molina is good, but not as elite as he once was throwing out runners. A pitcher that typically throws fastballs and a catcher who can throw runners out...no thanks.
  11. Never confident when he is on the bump. I just said it before the inning because I got called out saying something in retrospect...even though I think he is junk.
  12. No...you don't. He runs and gets thrown out and suddenly Thames gets the bat taken out of his hands. One hit and Braun gets and at bat. Know the situation.
  13. Not really. If he gets thrown out we have arcia, pinch hitter, and villar...
  14. Where is the guy that wants Barnes to be the closer? He's an okay arm...but...
  15. We have traded Smith, Thornburg, and Jeffress. Relievers don't just grow on trees. None of those guys are his. The guys we are pitching tonight are. His job is to find them. He's whiffing badly. To be fair...im sure he wasn't putting a lot of resources in bullpen arms this year.
  16. Agree, Thames has no range at all, or leaping ability. Like the guy, but he's a DH Was there a switch that put Thames in?
  17. Because you don't say that if he lines out to RF and we're out of the inning I wouldn't have said anything, but my opinion of him would still be the same. What about him makes you want him pitching in an important situation?
  18. Say that before the hit ..... Why? I can have that feeling at any time. I just don't think he's that great. He's a contact pitcher and I prefer strike out pitchers. Just like I like Barnes more so than others, but he got unlucky tonight.
  19. I personally think Hughes is garbage, but that's just me.
  20. Yea...unlucky hop there. These two bums get weak contact hits. Ugh.
  21. Still holdouts on giving it to the machines? These guys are determining games and races all on their own. It's crazy. Just go through that list of brewer games and look how many more call hurts there is. Frustrating.
  22. Entirely possible. Even so, braun is a vet and knows better. True, but as a man built of delicate China he probably isn't taking unnecessary risks.
