  1. Pitch looked high to me...possibly why Braun stopped running.
  2. At 80 pitches, he should only be out there for an inning or two more. It's Dusty Baker...there are no rules on how long his pitchers will go. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Max, Stras, and Gio are in the top 5 of pitches per game. Edit: 4 in the top 12 of the NL.
  3. I hope not. Perez has been awful since may. He has swung at like 50% of the pitches he's seen. Awful.
  4. I think they are seeing a lot of lefties in a row.
  5. Agreed. Not going after Gray and letting the Cubs jump up and grab Quintana is a clear message to the current roster: "You guys aren't good enough". Now wonder they're tanking badly since the break. Management doesn't believe in them, why should they? I agree with him. They probably aren't good enough. I don't think 1 pitcher is going to put this team over the top. They appeared to play over their heads for the 1st half of the season and are now regressing to the mean. This was always probably a slightly below 500 ballclub and they are showing some warts.
  6. Late to the party...anyone still asking for Barnes to be closer...or do we realize relievers give up runs?
  7. I wonder how many games this season we've had a lead in. Seems like every game.
  8. If you want to be a jabroni...dont come back. If you want to have some decent conversations stick around. Any knowledgeable brewer fan knows the Cubs are a better team.
  9. At least we clear the pitcher this inning. And by pitcher, I mean villar.
  10. Cool. Another pitcher hurt trying to hit. Tired of 2 different sets of rules.
  11. Looked safe on the replay. Surprised they didn't challenge it.
  12. I bought tickets in the 1st row one time and a family of Cubs fans were seated next to us. The lady told me it's quicker for them to drive to Miller park from the Chicago area than it is to go to Wrigley. She also said she enjoyed the stadium more too. They were a nice family.
