I realize you are pretty upset with the outcome, but, I too feel you could have handled the situation differently. My question is...What did you think was going to happen when you swore and sliced through line? The people don't know you well enough besides seeing your face 10+ times a year.

Guy on my softball team got hit by a ball running out a double play ball. Moved his jaw 5mm, broke his nose and shattered his eye socket.
