    good thing this is the easy part of the schedule and the Brewers will start to pull away again. sorry, this was supposed to be in blue Cant help when the Cubs win 10 of 11. They are hot and we are playing average on the road. Thats major league baseball, get used to it. There is about 75+ more games of it. We have a pretty marginal schedule for the rest of the year, dont expect pull way numbers the whole time.

    Was the dirt wet when he attempted to catch the ball? Just unlucky...it happens. I am not that happy about it but the season will go on, and its nice it happened over the AS break.

    I have to agree with most here. I would assume its because the first baseman will be in a more defensive position as well as the pitcher concentrating more on the hitter in order to not give up a big fly. Thats what I have always felt anyways.

    When did you plan on going? If it is sometime this summer it will be nearly impossible to get tickets to letterman or conan now. Although, you would be able to sit in line in the morning and get fill in seats. That being said, you have to be there REALLY early..6-7 am at the latest. Wait in line until 9 or 10 and pick up the extra tickets numbers, then you go wait in ANOTHER LINE at like 2 before the taping.     Not so sure about the big exclamation....but, I prefer to call it Miller Park South as long as they call it Wrigley North(which is the dumbest thing of all time to me, hate it.)

    The title of the thread even disturbs me as I don't want Benoit to RIP. I can't believe you can do that to anyone. Well, If you use the comma correctly, it says Benoit dead, and wife and child RIP. So, basically RIP wife and child, not Benoit himself.

    Although I think cheating is wrong, and this to me is cheating. Teaching them that is rediculous to me. But on the other hand, we used to have a play on our hockey team, where we basically did the same exact thing. Take advantage of the short crew and have too many men on the ice late in the game. The fact that there are penalties in hockey though make this alittle different, but, mildly the same I suppose. Still dont like it.

    With that said, you could make a drinking game out of Shcroeder's favorite line "but still in all." You could also add in, anything Rock says about going to the opposite field.

    Well -- my point is really, that for retired wrestlers/FB players out there that might have existing head injuries/sterroid issues, people should probably be more proactive in getting these people help/medication so these sort of things do not happen more and more often. I do agree with you 100%. I guess I am more disgusted with the fact that wrestlers are allowed to take steroids. If they take the steroids they should be aware of the consequences that come with them. Most are aware of the problems that performance enhancers cause. If they are not going to get the medical help they need after they stop using/during use. Perhaps they need to rethink using them. But I do agree. Help and medication needs to be looked into if these trends continue.

    a lot of athletes that suffer head injuries or use performance enhancers that are dying in very tragic ways. While I am sure they cannot prevent most head injuries, taking performance enhancers is a controllable piece. First thing I thought of when I heard the double murder/suicide investigation was steroids. Although, what I know about the effects of steroids is what I have just learned recently. But, that is what popped into my mind.

    I was just watching BBTN. They mentioned something to the effect that Rob Neyer thinks JJ should be the front running SS. So curiously, I go check it out. Sure enough, BBTN was wrong again. The whole blog basically dogged him mentioning that he might not even be one of the best 3 SS. Which I may or may not agree with. But I have to think itll be Fielder and Cordero, with Sheets getting an outside shot. All depends if the coaches like him I suppose.(They pick the pitchers dont they? Almost positive they do) Hardy is slim to none in my eyes.

    Now its up to Doug to get Capellan out of this city asap. Send he and Dave Bush home on KC plane for Grienke. That is funny to me. I would not like to see Bush go for Grienke. Letting Capellan go would make me feel better. He seems to not throw strikes, when he does its 88-90. Not too over powering. Although, I do not have a problem with the way Ned used the pen, or the lineup for that matter. Ugly games happen. I am just dissapointed by the loss in general because Hart brought hope back.

    How are other teams catchers stealing 2nd base. That is a joke. EDIT - I hate when gamecast says its a strike called a ball, and ball called a strike.

    Just checked the game out on gamecast, see we had 1st and 3rd no outs and failed to score. Goodness, cant buy a W.

    I will admit, I am not a HUGE reader by anymeans. So when I finish a book for fun it must be good. Lately I have been reading Ueks book "Catcher in the Wry." Fun read. Otherwise I like thriller books.

    19 of our next 28 games are against Tex, KC, Hou, Pit, Wash, SF. The other 9 are against some beatable teams in the Cubs and Twins.(I always feel those series can go either way) And 1 against Det. I expect to make some ground up in the up coming games. If not, then I will be looking for some answers. Until the AS break, I wont be too worried unless we are losing series against those first 6 teams. EDIT - To answer the question out right: I dont think Yost has anything to worry about unless we have trouble winning those games.

    Those who feel it's a game of luck simply do not understand the game. I agree, there is luck involved. Yet, I do not think it is anything like a sport.

    Those videos are a joke. Anyone can run around the Pats terrible D with Bo for 5 fake minutes. I applaud the Okoye run because it was much different. A play that takes skill would have to show me against a human opponent and be caught behind the line, with a blitz, and make a 10+ yard gain. I will applaud that. Running with Bo against the Pats...not so much.

    definatly not...what a joke of a question. Look up sport in the dictionary. The fact that many people who are not physically fit or physically able can attempt and be succesful at it makes it not a sport in my book. Dont get me wrong, I love playing and sitting around, but it in noway resembles anything of a "sport". I would consider it a "game", by all means. EDIT - It requires massive concentration and stamina when your entering these big tournaments. Dicipline, guts, competition. So does going number 2 on the can. As well as dominoes, euchre, and sheepshead. They are all games. Nothing close to a sport.
