  1. Not sure Yelich didn't do that on his own, but if Sedar called that and I was Yelich, I'd roll my eyes Aaron Rodgers style and swing away. Lol. Classic.
  2. 0-2 after he just swung at a ball in the dirt...yeesh. And I'm guessing the windmill Eddie line was a joke. I'm sure he knows the 3b coach doesnt call for those. I'm guessing Yelich did it on his own since theyve been shifting him big time.
  3. But, but Freitas is the answer to our offensive woes! So obviously he wont have as good of stats as Freitas. You know as well as I do he’s not the answere to our offensive woes, but if Pina continues flailing away at the plate, he’s an option. Pina gets...4, 5 at bats a week? They are probably similar hitters, but I'll go with Pinas known defense.

  5. Just want to see online poker come back.
  6. Went to change my daughter and missed it. Barely cleared the fence? Shoulda been a can of corn? This park does suck.
  7. Freitas could hit better THIS year than Pina with a patch over one eye. Doubt it. Edit: Freitas last year had a 589 ops. Pina this year is 587. Coupled with some hard hit rates for Pina and above average catching...Pina remains the better option, no matter how Frietas is hitting in AAA.
  8. For those wanting to see Freitas take over for Pina...let Saladino be exhibit A why AAA numbers dont necessarily mean squat.
  9. Line drives and flyouts to the track. Blooper and broken bat singles. Frustrating being on the poor end. Ha
  10. Stats show a pitcher 8th actually scores more runs. However, I'm sure it depends who your 9 hitter is and your 2 hitter.
  11. Why is it a gimmick? Because hes not fast? He had the highest OBP on the team outside of Yelich(and Thames slightly). The goal should be...get more guys on base in front of Yelich. Grandal leading off does that. Putting a guy with below average speed in front of your fastest baserunner doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I want guys on base when Grandal comes up too. How often do you actually think Grandal being in front of Yelich is going to cause Yelich not to get an extra base?

  13. Not so dumb after all. He actually gets his players to play better than their talent. Did it with the Rockies too. So does CC.
  14. Dont think he was going anywhere. I am pretty sure someone posted his hard hit numbers and they were all solid.
