Turang's defense is on another planet!
  2. TURBO
Ok, that isn't how I read it...

I HIGHLY doubt we oust Williams from the closer role this season unless he completely melts down at some point. I can see Abner as a closer in the future, but not as long as Williams is on this roster.

I can't muster up hate for the Pirates either. They have been bad for so long, they just haven't mattered. Hate for the Cardinals runs deep though, and the Cubs as well, but not on the Cardinals level.

The Abner Uribe era has begun! Go get 'em kid!
  6. TURBO
    I don't hate them yet...

They still have a top prospect (Christian Encarnacion-Strand) just waiting in the minors but there isn't room for him. (They have been playing him in the OF though in AAA) Wish we had even close to this kind of excitement on the Brewers.

This Reds team, if they acquire some pitching at the deadline, is going to be scary. I'm going to bet they try to add that pitching at the deadline. Anyone who is still on the "the Reds always suck and we don't have to worry about them" train might want to jump off.

I'm not giving up Black or Quero for Alonso. 1.5 years of a guy who isn't enough to push us over the edge is an overpay, severely. Hold on to Black, Quero, Chourio, and Frelick and be happy as hell we did 2 years from now. One player like Goldy or Alonso isn't going to be enough of a difference maker to get us deep into the playoffs. It's going to take at least another top bat for us to have a chance.

    Must be a secret.

This article is written by a Cubs fan, not a Brewers fan. I just can't take anything too seriously that is written about the Brewers by an avid Cubs fan. To be honest, not even sure why a Cubs fan is writing for a Brewers website.

I simply do not believe this. He hasn't played GG defense since he won his GG as a Marlin.
  13. TURBO
I've kind of been wondering that too. lol When you run at least three forums (Brewers, Cubs, and Twins) do you act like you are a fan of the team on each forum? Awkward.

I would guess Owen Miller might be the full time 1B until Rowdy gets back. Has Jones played 1B before? Seems sketchy to throw a guy over there who hasn't played there before.

OMG! Stupid x 2! FIRE THIS CRAPFEST OF A 3B COACH TONIGHT! It doesn't even take a good throw to get guys in these situations. ASININE to the MAX! I just can't believe it.
  16. TURBO
Being awful hard on this kid don't ya think?
  17. TURBO
Could have been 1st and 3rd with 1 out. Geez, I just can't get over how stupid that entire situation turned out to be.
  18. TURBO
I didn't think that was even possible.
  19. TURBO
Nope, but there is always that guy that says it was not a stupid send. I'm just getting out ahead of them.
  20. TURBO
Doesn't matter what anyone says here, that send was absolutely asinine! What a ridiculous bunch of nonsense. Complete rally killer by the 3B coach.
  21. TURBO
Would loved to have seen Jones come up and do it again, imagine the mystique that would have created! YOU SUCK ROWDY!
  22. TURBO
    unbelievable!
  23. TURBO
Oh Boy! He'll be swinging out of his socks this at bat!
  24. TURBO
He's learning from the rest of our guys...

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 today. Loved it, but I've enjoyed all 3 of that franchise. Probably my last Marvel movie for a long time. I'm totally bitter on all the other Marvel movies, just too many to keep up with and I don't see any of them as new and groundbreaking. They are either making new characters or digging up a lot of them that I've never heard of. Either way, I'm done with the Marvel universe for now.
