    My gosh, could that line-up be any uglier? (insert Yuni comment) Schaefer leading off is ridiculous. Completely stupid. Just because he is in CF does not have to mean he is leading off.

    They are selling for that much on ebay? Why? It was an all fan give-away, with patience, it will drop down to $15 or so in a couple months.

    K-Rod's magic seems to be wearing off... Just keep working him RRR, just keep working him... He should not have been used in this non-save situation to begin with.

    Doesn't matter how they are doing, Reynolds and Overbay are gritty vets, they are RRR guys, they will grind it out...

    Well, the day has come. Looks like our basic line-up while Ramirez is on the shelf will be Reynolds at 3B and Overbay at 1B... I admit, they have both outperformed my expectations to this point, and you just knew it would happen sometime during the season (ARam injury)... I hope they both go on a tear the next 2 weeks, and Braun doesn't re-injure himself in the process of trying to come back too soon.

    Satisfaction to me is the fact that we aren't being overkilled by so many bobbles. As it is now, they give away too many each season, making them not very special. It is over-saturation, and a lot of people have stopped collecting because there are just too damn many. I'd like to see 4 bobbles per season, no retros, no alternates. I may be in the minority as a collector though.

    Looks like it was a false alarm... I have talked to 2 people who went to the game, and they both said only white jerseys were given out. Whew... The guy on craigslist, not sure what he is thinking. Here is his ad. http://appleton.craigslist.org/clt/4464858979.html I emailed him, but still no reply.

    Neither have I, but there is a guy on craigslist selling the pinstripes for $25 and the white for $10. Time will tell soon enough, if there are pinstripes, they will be on ebay sometime tonight. I don't know what bothers me more, the fact they are doing retros, or the fact that they aren't saying so ahead of time, like it's a secret.

    So I hear there are pinstripes and white jersey Lohse bobbles. Anyone know if they are 50/50, or is the pinstripes one of 5000? I was hoping they would do only one of each bobble this year...

    $125 for the Bernie isn't that bad, they are usually in the $150 range, and one sold last summer for $200. I know a guy who just paid $175 for one. I think most of those are now in the hands of collectors and in collections, so they are coming up less and less for sale. Only 1000 of them, so they may start to be pretty scarce. I wonder if the other Stitch bobbles will become more scarce as time goes on too? If they keep that number at 1000 produced, I can see the others being more valuable, but not Bernie valuable. The Chorizo is a tough one to find right now, unless you are willing to pay $100+... It's all a game these days.

    I will never, ever, EVER forgive or understand starting Kotsay in CF in a playoff game with that kind of magnitude. NEVER can that move be justified for any sane reason. It is that move that defines the disgust I feel toward RRR as our manager. It is that move that should have cemented his walking papers, but here he is... As a fan, I will never be able to get over that singular move.
