  1. Hopefully, he will no longer be part of the rotation by the time we get to Coors. The bull pen looks to be taxed heavily today...
  2. HR #2... I am sooooooo done with Estrada. I agree, it is time for a change, and we have a guy just licking his chops to get back up with the big club in Jimmy Nelson.
  3. That is true Dean, just looked it up myself. Website says ALL FANS.
  4. Well, here comes the K-Rod roller coaster... Buckle up Brewer fans!
  5. So can everyone please just keep quiet about Braun and Scooter for a while? YES!!!
  6. Beltre is becoming my favorite non-brewer player...
  7. I am so unbelievably sick and tired of hearing about "that" team too. I am not a fan of "that" team, in fact, I have become an anti-fan. My allegiance is to a different NFL team, so that sheds a little light as to why I am not a fan of "that" team. The constant news and information gets so irritating. As a full fledged fan of MLB, I get increasingly annoyed with the coverage of the NFL every year as it seems to get worse and worse as the years pass by. I opened up my fantasy baseball page the other day (yahoo) and was horrified to see the lead stories being based on the NFL. This is the middle of fantasy baseball season, and they can't help themselves, the NFL fantasy season takes top bill, even in June. Really angered me at the time. I wait all off season for fantasy baseball, and still, football gets top bill. I digress....I am bitter.

  9. Not sure what kind of uniform Henderson is wearing... http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n136/turborickey/JimHenderson_zpsd0d757e2.jpg
  10. First photo I have seen of the Gomez. Sure wish these were full size. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n136/turborickey/CarlosGomez_zpsc38f27fc.jpg
  11. I have been wondering all season why Coulter is DHing so much. Kind of irritates me a bit. His catching skills have improved, he threw 2 guys out last night trying to steal 2nd base. I have been to roughly 10 T-Rats games this season, and last night was only the 2nd or 3rd time I have seen him catch.
  12. Picked up a 2002 All Star Game Fan Fest Richie Sexson Forever Collectibles Bobble if anyone is interested... http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n136/turborickey/ebaysales069_zpseef05c5c.jpg
  13. I went to Yankee stadium and Citi Field last August. Citi Field blew Yankee Stadium out of the water. Yankee Stadium is as generic as can be. It was a complete disappointment. Citi Field was great! It had a real ballpark feel to it. I could see going to a lot of games there if I were a New Yorker. Yankee Stadium is good to see once, but nothing special. I wish I had gone to the original before it was tore down, but I missed out...
  14. I think fewer and fewer people collect bobbles, I think it is that simple... There are too many given out, which has driven some folks away from the hobby. Just too many to keep track of and collect. Along with the volume, there is always the issue of display space. If the Brewers give out 8-10 different bobbles per year, the display space disappears pretty quickly. If you also collect the minor league bobbles, you can be adding 25-30 new bobbles per season. That is just insane... I know of a few guys who used to be into it, but have dropped out because of the numbers there are to collect... I'm not sure where you get the "bragging" issue, and seeing what others have for trade or sale is what the trading post is all about........imo. I have made several transactions on this very board this season already. I think as long as there are those willing to trade, transactions will occur. I do think fewer people post here than years ago though. I think a lot of people still read this forum, but not as many participate as far as posting. The discussion surely has dried up, not sure what the answer is to that, other than I truly believe there are fewer hardcore collectors out there.
  15. Mets fans have been in a comatose for a few years They have a great stadium though...
  16. Sure, I'll pay for your beer, food, and anything you want in the team store as well... In fact, bring a few friends, let's make it a party!
  17. What, can't you splurge and buy a ticket?
  18. That stuff is just awesome... The second one with Elvis is just great!
  19. If that is true, I did not know that...Ok, so 30,000 of them...lol
  20. There will be 40,000 +. The first two weeks, they will sell for ridiculous prices. (on ebay buy it now currently in the $40-$45 range) After that, like all the Brewers SGA, they will drop in price. those ticket prices are on the secondary market, there are still a lot of people who bought their tickets at the regular prices. This is going to be a popular game and bobble, no doubt. For whatever reason though, HANK's popularity will probably still leave it in the $20 range. Lots of people will actually keep these and display them as opposed to sell, so I suppose the price could stick around $30 for a while. If I can't trade for one, I will just hold out. The days of paying stupid prices too soon are over for me. If it is one thing I have learned over the past couple of years it is patience... Brewers SGAs can always be had cheap if you wait it out.
  21. Great play by Segura, but Rickie dioing the best he can to throw this game away trying to make that throw, which was impossible to get the DP on... Rickie just kills us defensively...We got lucky.
