crap. ok, here we go... I miss the days when AX was automatic... -
Would love to get that run in right here Taylor!!!!!! Would be HUGE!
-
They used to be pretty rare, still are, but I'm not sure the current one on ebay will get to $100... You never know though. All it takes is 2 people bidding like crazy on one item to jack up the price...
-
ok, nice job K-Rod, next up, the Axford tightrope...
-
Is Maldanado known as a hitter? Dude can surely play defense...
-
might have gotten a gift on that one K-Rod...That looked low to me.
-
These west coast games are killing my sleep cycle.
-
I shudder to think that K-Rod will have a shot at blowing this game for Fiers in the 8th...
-
I agree. Or Morgan/Gomez straight platoon in CF, Aoki in RF, Hart at 1B every day. Either way would be fine with me. ^this
-
Their value varies, but seem to be coming down in price. Also have noticed a few coming up on ebay lately.
-
I love Ryan Braun.
-
If I were Braun, I would throw all foul balls back to the infield from here on out. Screw those bitter dodger fans! HR 2 coming up here...
-
That MVP chant when Kemp comes up is ridiculous... Especially after Braun just takes one deep! Let them chant! I hope Braun does it again just to anger the crowd!!

I made a deal with a guy for a Ports Jenkins, and he mentioned to me that he has one more Jenkins and 2 Sheffields available. I got my Jenkins shipped for a REALLY good price, so if anyone is interested, PM me, and I will give you his email address. He lives in California, so it would have to be shipped. I paid $25 for the Jenkins and that included shipping. Only downside is no boxes... Not sure what his price would be on the Shefs, but I doubt it would be much, if any, more than the Jenkins.

Axford is an adventure of his own most nights too though... I miss last year's bullpen, once RR figured out how to use Loe anyway...
-
I am really starting to dislike K-Rod. Too much of an adventure every time this guy takes the hill.
-
YES! No way I can watch another Manny Parra start......EVER!
-
Im with you on this. Hart seems to be settling in nicely at first. As far as Rickie goes, he cant possibly ne this bad all year. Agreed, but in all honesty, I am expecting a season ending wrist injury for Rickie before he gets things all figured out at the plate.

So, this being Memorial Day weekend, I decided to watch a few movies I haven't seen in ages. Friday night was "When Trumpets Fade" If you haven't seen this one, make an effort to do so. Good flick. Saturday was "Full Metal Jacket" One of my favorite war movies of all time. Sunday was "Thin Red Line" A movie I did not care for too much when I originally saw it in the theater when it came out. I appreciated it a lot more this time around though. Nicely done, and a bit deeper than your typical blow-em-up war movie.

I'm thinking there is no need to look for another 1B starter this year. Keep Hart there, play Aoki everyday in RF and now all we have to worry about is finding a decent SS. I am assuming of course that Rickie eventually pulls his head from his hinder and remembers how to hit.

Do any of those players hitting the DL really make us that much worse? Gonzalez, probably. Gamel, we just don't know enough about him yet to be able to say. Izturis is WW fodder. Narveson and Estrada can be replaced without a big drop off. I just don't see some of those injuries even mattering in the grand scheme of things.

All I know, is that I snagged him in all of my fantasy leagues, and he has been nothing short of spectacular! I even just pulled off a trade this week, Capuano for Gallardo straight up. I got Gallardo. I hope I don't regret it. As of now, Cappy is the far better fantasy option, but I figured getting Gallardo when he hasn't been so great (buying low), and getting rid of Capuano before he comes back down to earth was a wise move... We shall see. As of now, I am regretting my decision.

I thought this show had its own thread, but couldn't find it. Anyway, this show is losing me. Used to be must see tv for me, but all these ridiculous "take-offs" just bore me. The video game episode a couple weeks ago, I couldn't even get through it. This CHANG as a dictator nonsense is just too far over the top, even for this show... Hopefully, like Parks and Rec, they get back on track next season and continue being 2 of the best shows on tv. I will probably be in the minority with these opinions.
-
I'm glad the election is over... That drug on too long, hopefully, next season is better than this past one...
-
Green starting every day SHOULD be a given, however...
