  2. Anyone have extras? I have the following I'm willing to trade for one. Obviously, I don't have the Counsell, Greinke or McGehee bobbles yet, but when I get them, I'm willing to trade... 2001 Geoff Jenkins non sga bobble with box. 3. Brew City, where did you get those photos? VERY nice!
  4. They were in the suites huh? That makes sense. That is probably why the cards were a bit faded, they probably saw some sunlight over the years with those big windows that face the field. Well, the bobbles if they had their original boxes are pretty rare I think. Not sure how many they gave out. No idea of the value, they never come up on ebay. Have you checked into them, are they glued down? Was there still one of the displays left after you got yours? I left at around 11:30, and I thought they were both still there.
  5. bigjase, there were two of those mini bobble cases, were there any left after the one you got? I almost got one because there is a poster here who has been looking for a couple of those bobbles for a long time, but was afraid I'd get stuck with it if he didn't want it. Turned out I was right, he didn't want it on the chance the bobbles might have been glued to the base... It was a neat item though if you had a place to put it, they spent a lot of money getting that framed and matted at one time, that's for sure. Was probably in someone's office at the stadium is my guess. I would have thought they would have had all those holiday bobbles (Cain, Green, Suppan, and Bush) out in the sale too. The $21.99 price tag in the store hasn't exactly burned them off the shelves, it's been a year and they still have quite a few left. Cain is gone, but they still have the other 3...
  6. Sorry man, I plan to put the nameplates in mats with the autographed 8x10 photos I have... I mat and frame stuff myself to save big money, and that was why I wanted to get to the nameplates first thing.
  7. Just got back and picked up a few things... There were roughly 150 people waiting in line when they opened the gates at 10:00 am. I honestly didn't expect to see that many people there, or I would have gone earlier. I was about half way throught the line of people waiting for the gates to open. I got the locker name plates for the following players: Odorizzi Scarpetta Peralta Heckathorn Bucci Scooter Gennett Hunter Morris Devontry Richardson Khris Davis Kentrail Davis Cutter Dykstra Komatsu All for $1 each... Not bad, when they opened the gates, I went straight to the table that had them and it was just me and another guy going through them. I grabbed a stack and was lucky enough to have all the guys I wanted except Lasker, Dennis, Garfield and Jeffress... I passed on the Dave Bush and Suppan plates... Almost got them, had them in my hand, but decided not to. Got a line-up card for a game that Odorizzi started (August 16th game), but I haven't looked up the results of that game yet, or if I was actually there in attendance. Also had their best line-up with all their regular big names starting so I was happy to find it. There were so many of them there, and I didn't prepare with certain dates that I would have wanted, so I found one that was neatly done and that had my favorite players playing. Line-up cards were $2 each. Missed out on the bats that might have had names and numbers... By the time I got there, the only ones left were generic. All the bats were $10. Also picked up a game used warm up jacket. Jerseys were selling for $80-$100 and by the time I shifted through the crowd, the big names were gone. A productive morning, pretty chilly, but just being at the ballpark alone was worth the trip. (was also treated to free hotdogs, soda and popcorn) Anyone else from brewerfan.net there today?

  9. I have to admit, I'd open that bad boy up and display it...lol
  10. Can you post better pics? Hard to tell the quality from the ones you posted... Check your PM.
  11. Believe it or not, I have come across an extra. Just got one for myself a couple months ago, and my Dad picked one up for me so now I have two... Here are my needs: My updated bobbles want list: 03 - Molitor powder blue w/box 06 - Beloit Snappers Greg Vaughn SGA bobble w/box Rick Vaughn from "Major League" bobble Mr. 3000 bobble Gantner and Gorman Woodchucks SGA bobbles with box
  12. hmmmmmm another sausage set perhaps? That is good to know, I am going to pass on future stitch-n-pitch bobbles if they are going to do sausages. Thanks for the info!
  13. What section are the seats in?
  14. Just picked up the Pinsripes Damian Miller...
  15. Great, that would be helpful!
  16. Anyone have any information? Will it be the same as last year or an all-together different one?
  17. Oglive and Simmons never had a full sized bobble, and they were a pretty big part of that 82 team's success...
  18. Hart and Weeks already have one, and who is to say Weeks will still be here? Unless Weeks or Hart does something really special, I doubt they get another one this soon. I honestly think they will do a full size Simmons and/or Oglive to honor the 30 year anniversay of the world series team... Maybe the new 1B not named Prince Fielder will get one? My guess: Gallardo Marcum Lucroy lame sausage Oglive Simmons If we continue to give bobbles to guys like Gomez, Kendall, Suppan, even Wolf for that matter, why bother. No one wants them, the collectors only have them to fill out a collection. I won't go to those games for the bobble, I'll pick it up later for cheap. I know some of you wanted a Counsell, but to me, that fits right in with the others listed... If we are going to bobble those guys, then I think the rest of the 82 team rightfully should get theirs too. Who really knows? Every person here thought Gallardo was a lock for a bobble this year, and he got snubbed... The only one we know for 100% certain is the darn sausage... They really need to start listening to the fans.
  19. Gary Sheffield? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  20. Is there a chance they do some of the stars from the '82 club (full size) in 2012 for the 30 year anniversary? Oglive, Simmons, Money, Charlie Moore perhaps?
  21. I am not happy with: Wolf Hot Dog Counsell The fact there is no Gallardo is absolutely asinine... I also hate the alternates. Why do they do this? The bobble games sell out, soit isn't like they will sell more tickets. All it does is create new ways for people to try and screw each other... BOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Who makes these decisions? There have been some pretty big bobble blunders over the years. They would serve themselves better if they came to this very board and looked at suggestions from those who actually care. I understand the sausage bobbles, I'm sure kids love them, but do we need to repeat them? I'd rather have different Bernies every year than 5 more sausage bobbles... No Gallardo just frosts me...
