Query is really the only option for today and the extreme short term for backup catcher. He's the only one on the 40 man, and I can't think Ramon Rodriguez would deserve a 40 man spot . So, it's either very short term, or he's a place holder until they can add a more experienced catcher to the 40 man.

The Brewers DS games will be on TBS , so either Brian Anderson or Alex Faust will do play by play. TBS for the NLCS , which is Brian Anderson. And the world series would be Fox and Joe Davis. Joe Buck no longer does baseball. -
It's likely just the need to have a backup catcher to Jansen, cause I'm sure Contreras will not be behind the plate much if any time the rest of the regular season

He was actually just reporting Fangraphs projections for the Brewers of 81 wins. Fangraphs seems to never predict very many 90 plus win teams. Brian Kenny is actually very pro Brewers

Ehh, that's a bummer, I always look forward to seeing actual official stats from our newest draft class each year. -
I notice that the Arizona Complex season will run from May to July this year, which means that those drafted this year will not play there. So, where will, especially the high school and JC players play after being drafted. I could see college players go to Carolina for the last 2 months , but the young ones won't. Any insight as to the plan?

I guarantee they won't sign both Chapman and Hoskins too, but the Chourio deal has zero to do with it

And your scenario can still happen, and still have Chourio locked up for likely up till 10 years. Why do we think that this signing means 80 million dollars is out the door this year.

Are you under the impression that Chourio signing means we can't sign anybody else. yes we could sign Hoskins for 3/36 and Chapman for 4/60 maybe , so a total oft 27 million a year and 96 total. Chourio will likely only make 2 million or so in 2024.

For me, im just tired of winning a game or two and being this close to putting any doubt out the window of making the playoffs, and then, lose two in a row to the cubs, and then lose the last two games now. I would love to just have a cruise to the finish line, and not have to wonder if a bad stretch is right around the corner. -

I'm sure that's what's happening. the page will flicker off and back on, and then after it does it again, it goes blank and gives me the repeated error message. it would often happen on bref often too before I decided to pay the membership fee for bref.com

Yelich's has a ops of 839 away from marlins park for his career and it went up to 869 last year. We just got an amazing player who will be a blast to watch for 5 years as he is likely just entering his prime. And we still have tons of prospects in the pipeline.

You can't keep or start them all. You have to be willing to trade a few away to improve the club. So remove brinson Harrison and Diaz and add Yelich. We still have 18 potential players for our 2020 position player group. And that doesn't include some others we may pick up in subsequent trades.
