Maybe RR peruses the IGTs and has considered the frequent complaints that move would bring Seriously, however, I think a day off should be a day off so I'm glad to see it. I also like giving Kottaras some time because I think he's shown he's up to it. Lucroy isn't a significant upgrade defensively, is he? I'm actually asking because that's my sense, but that's not something I pay a lot of attention to. -
Yep. That's pretty disappointing.

This is what makes baseball great, right?

If I recall, cny, those were two very bizarre plays. I know your just joking, though. Yes bizarre, and yes joking. The MP one was more bizarre than the Metrodome one.

?? Prince has 9 career triples I'm sorry, I was being facetious. It was merely a comment on Prince's lack of speed. Prince has 2 career inside the park home runs. He's fast.

Anybody wonder if Gomez would have gotten to that flyball?
-
good inning from Marcum. Nice to see that. Anybody else watching Darvish struggle? Yikes.
-
.... (and a defense of Lucroy) yeah, good point.

Did Rock just take a shot at Wolf? Big league catchers can catch anybody? Pitchers have to adjust?
-
If the Brewers lose by less than 6, that's a moral victory!

Something to cheer for!

Haven't won on opening day since 2008. If I'm remembering right.

I've been thinking about how I'd describe this game. I'd say it's "not pretty." It's not yet, "ugly." To me it's not ugly until you are more than a run or two away from "respectable." I think 8 to 4 would be respectable, so right now it's "not pretty." I wish the game was more entertaining so that I wouldn't have thought about that so long.

I think it just got even quieter in Miller Park.
