Has he? It seems like he's always in there, but maybe that's just my memory being clouded by all the weak ground outs.

It really can't be much longer before something happens with Casey. At this point just a day off would be welcome from my perspective. Just give him a day, at least, away from the game. I respect that (I assume) he hasn't asked for one, but it's got to be getting to him. Still, it's just a 1 run game. It feels like more than that.

I honestly can't even watch series against the Cubs. My wife has it on in the other room, and just hearing it upsets me. It's not healthy. I went to bed last night while they were up 3-1 figuring I didn't want to see how it ended, or I'd be happy reading the recap over breakfast. The late start tonight will make this game even easier to avoid. I'm sort of happy about that. Before anybody else says it, yes, I'm a terrible fan.

Other people are complaining about the players or the manager, and you are almost always complaining about the other posters. I don't think you are going to change this place much with these kinds of posts, and I don't know what these posts add to the discussion. Defending Roenicke is not the same as knocking other posters. Estrada doesn't make as much sense as Hawkins in the 8th because a 3 run lead in the 8th is why Hawkins is on the roster. I really do believe it's that simple, and while some posters might get a bit dramatic about it, that's the basic point.

I tend not to get too upset about lineups, but this lineup makes me want to cry. Edit: More rationally, I guess if you just swapped Casey and Hart I'd be less bothered by it. I think I'm mostly just upset by the cumulative effect of seeing Casey hitting 5th day after day. The one game he moved down I was happy to see it, and then right back.
