  1. That was him. He was %100 percent certain about it too. I would trust you more than him since you have all the SGA bobbleheads. This guy had a scragley dirty just got out of a 12hr factory job and headed straight over to MP look to him.
  2. I also heard that a guy had 15 tickets for prince and didn't get a single retro and another guy had 50 and only got 2 retros
  3. I heard from a guy at the players lot that for the prince fielder bobble the boxes were labled differently than what the bobbles actually were. He also said they were handing out the retros to mostly kids. So far for me I have only two alternates off the pull and they were blue Molitor and blue Sutton. I have one ticket and my friend has 3 or 4 each game so far the only blue he has is Moore off the pull. We go in the third base entrance. I don't know how they do the '82 bobbles so I guess I have just been really lucky. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif Getting alternates really saves me money. and I hope I can get a retro Bill Hall http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. I a hit a frog the other day mowing my neighbors lawn I had put in a bush so he wouldn't get hit and then kept going and bam he had come out again and I didn't see him http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  5. Yea I questioned this too on Molitor night but my friend also said it was their batting helmet.
  6. I only have one friend like that and it turns out the stuff we bid on is Brewer stuff. If I see his name which I know I usualy ask him about it and tell him how lucky he will be if he wins. I don't bid on stuff that he has the high bid in. I was going to bid on a flag once hung in County stadium but noticed my friends name. I thought he would have the high bid but actually did not win. So now if we see something like a Brewers painted van we would put are money in together.
  7. yep August 14th milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com...p&c_id=mil
  8. Congrats http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I remember my graduation ceremony and it was horribly long we had 8 or 9 valedictorians I can't remember. The speech they gave was horribly unfunny and they took turns reading parts of it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif I was the last one in my class and I was thinking about doing something funny or amusing but thought against it knowing the world of pain I would be in from my dad when I got home http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif
  9. Yep it was either $2 or $2.50 my friend got that. I went for my Great Dane Crop Circle Wheat at $3.50
  10. Yep for $10 I would buy one http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  11. I will also be there. For a game of baseball at $7 and PBR at $2 you can't beat it.
  12. I can't wait for him to come to the Mallards game on the 3rd. Me and my friend might have his roommate go to the Brewers game and pick up bobbles for us. I was also at the Mallards game last night and had alot of fun but I rarely go to Mallards games. The only reason I went was because it was Muskies night and I remember going to Muskie games all the time as a kid. Even had a birthday party there once. The muskies hat SGA they gave away is awesome.
  13. You should definently go for it the guy is really nice and for $50 it is a steal IMO. I am really happy with mine. It is the same sign just different section numbers. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  14. How did the driver go on for 4 miles http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif
  15. Yea it is not much but there is something http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  16. On ebay they go for $200 - $300 Diamond box blue seats go around $300 -$500 .This is from what I have seen in the past. and price gets higher with connected seats Autographed seats go for about $350 - $500 Luckily the guy I got mine from was the one who sold me the sign. He wanted to get rid of the pile of seat parts he had laying around so he sold me 2 partial seats which make one seat with extra parts and a pair of legs for $100 The people who sell on Craigslist usually sell for alot cheaper milwaukee.craigslist.org/...53638.html The guy I got my seat and sign from on craigslist is also selling another sign just like what I got and a metal Reds sign that used to hang in CS. milwaukee.craigslist.org/...97214.html milwaukee.craigslist.org/...60186.html I am no expert on this but these are the prices I have seen.
  17. I don't know if Braun has signed at the players lot before but he and Gwynn Jr. drove together and said they would sign inside. I didn't want to wait in a mob of people for their autographs so I didn't go down to the dug and don't know if they actually did sign. I got JJ's autograph and it looks just like the one on the card. I am gald too since I didn't have to the medical shool after the game and wait in a line to get him. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  18. Same here I am only going to sand blast a few small areas that need touch up with some welding.
  19. I wanted severe weather as well http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif Each time I hear gary cannalte talk about severe weather nothing happens. His wife though was the only reason besides seeing my friends that I liked going to homeroom + English class in 7th grade; )
  20. Yea my only real beef with my seat is that one arm rest is #25 the other #32 and the number on the top piece of wood is 19 and has a nice dent in the top side. Was probably stepped on pretty good by people trying to get to seats or this seat from other rows.
  21. Wow 5 seats that's cool. I just got one off of Craigslist a few weeks ago I was actually buying a County Stadium seat direction sign. The guy sold me one of his many seats he has. He was part of the demolition crew for county stadium He had a bunch of stands either for mounting the chairs permanently or for actually sitting in them. I got the ones used for sitting in the chair This guy is selling stands for old refurbished metropolitan stadium seats for $70 a pair. I don't know if he would sell just the stands or if the even work CS seats I do not know why they wouldn?t. www.vendiamo.com/Met/MetStadium.htm My seat is also in pretty bad condition it was parts from 2 different seats. I had to take a dremel to each nut and use about 10 cutting wheels due to all the rust. I haven't put it together yet but would like to fix it up first. I am not going to sell mine so I want to restore the metal so it looks nice and doesn't start chipping all over my carpet or getting me dirty when I sit in it for watching games on TV. The arm rests are really rusted. I am going to ask my old HS Tech Ed teacher if I can use the sandblaster to fix up the arm rests. I hope he still works at the HS. I noticed a restored chair on eBay so you might want to ask him some questions I know I will be. cgi.ebay.com/Milwaukee-Co...dZViewItem Wow this is horrible writing http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif Oh well hope this helps some I will make a post of what I actually do when I do it to my chair.
  22. I went to the players lot yesterday before the game and got Hardy, Miller, Mench, Villanueva and Hart I saw JJ sign the sweet spot of the ball. A couple of the players didn't even say anything when we asked for autographs and some of them walked around the lot so as not to talk to us. Gwynn Jr and Braun said they would autograph inside.
  23. Thanks for the quick reply 20Fry. I don't care to much who hits the ball my cousin won't need to know a Cub player hit it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Since you said the Brewers are usually done by the time gates open. Do the balls they hit into the seats stay in the seats or are they picked up by MP staff. Will be inside first thing walking around RF bleachers. I hope a few balls get hit up around 201-202 since I haven't played baseball in like 10 years and I wasn't that great then at catching. lol I plan to get JJ after the game with Prince at the signing they are having at the medical building.
  24. I know this is kind of late and I hope this the right place for it. I am going to the game tomorrow alone since my friend can't get off of work. I plan to hopefully leave Madison early to get some autographs at the players lot then catch BP and the game. What is a good place to stand to try and catch a ball at BP. My ticket is in the RF bleachers section 201 row 1. I would like to get one ball so I can get it autographed by JJ hardy at the medical signing after the game and give it to my cousin for her birthday coming up. I do have a glove and I will be bringing it of course.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif TIA ~Zach
  25. My fielder was fine until I tried to screw in the bat and the nut came out. I then was unscrewing the nut from my bat when it snapped in half. The quality is ok on mine except for a odd smoothed out surface in between his legs that is a lighter shade than other gritty dirt surface otherthan that I am fine with it no other paint problems. My Bill Hall pink bat though makes up for the poor craftsmenship of the bobble http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
