I caught a little of the Pirates game a day or two ago and he has some sort of leg issue. He was quite gimpy. It didn't seem serious, but probably something that merited some rest to make sure he's okay for the final month. I wonder if that's lingering soreness from when he crashed into the wall going after a hit in PIT from our last series?
Not only that, and I think I've brought it up before, but if you watch baseball highlights with any regularity on ESPN, and they do a little cut-away to action shots of players, they are almost always from visiting teams in Miller Park.
I agree. Except for that one start in Houston when he went 7 its been frustrating to see him manage only 5 IPs. Hopefully this season he and Yo can try to get more efficient with their pitches. It's fun to watch K's but its better to watch 7-8 IP from our starters.
You can but the commissioner needs to approve it I am going to assume that Bud Selig will approve this as the stars are going from one major market to another. Ah, thanks. I just remember everyone saying that we couldn't trade Marcum at the trade deadline because he was on the DL. Not saying that we would've got much in return for a pitcher on the DL.
I know people always say "they're not used to the throw" but I can never understand how a pitcher can't make that throw. I play softball once a week in the summer, so I'm no where near "used" to any throw, and I can probably make that throw 9.999/10 times.
