  1. wow check out that wind lol Casey McGehee is quickly becoming one of my favorite Brewers
  2. That's true. But playing Boston would of at least given us exposure. Nobody cares about an Atlanta/Milwaukee series. We could of saw a fight or something vs Celtics. Now we'll just go pretty quietly vs the Hawks.
  3. I don't really see why Claudio Vargas is on this team. Maybe they'll bring Stetter back once Vargas inevitably goes to the DL or gets DFA'd.
  4. Frederickson and Dykstra are waving hello... If proven prospects are an unknown commodity then what are draft picks? You can't even adequately define their value... what if we end up with a team's second round pick again like the Sabathia deal? If I have a choice between top prospects and draft picks, the choice is prospects every single time. If the pitching doesn't improve, Prince's 5 wins don't mean anything, especially in a walk year. Proven prospects? Like who? One, I don't think there is such a thing as a "proven" prospect especially pitchers. Two, I have 0 confidence we'd get a get a "stud" pitcher for Prince. Teams generally don't want to give those up especially when they won't be able to sign the guy they're trading for or they could just wait a year and sign in free agency. I'd stretch this out with Prince and do everything possible to resign him. I don't see the prospects we'd get for Prince much better than the draft picks.
  5. I watched the OT to Heat and Nets It was probably the most pathetic thing i ever saw The Nets and Heat were absolutely tanking like no teams I ever seen before we're stuck playing Atlanta now because of these jokers anybody who wants Atlanta over Boston has no idea what they're talking about we're going to be lucky to win one game
  6. Why would Boston give up the farm when they could just sign Prince in free agency if they wanted him? They're already a world series caliber team. They can afford to wait. Unfortunately, I really don't think we'll get much value for Prince if that's the route we decide to take.
  7. Good fans just dont say what you guys are saying. Vent all you want, but dont say that stuff about your team. lol is this suppose to be in blue or something? I'm going to drop this now but get over yourself.
  8. Please point out who is throwing in the towel. It amazes me, after a loss as bad as that one, how any sort of venting is labeled as "bandwagon." That was an awful loss. With awful managing in the 7th and 8th innings. Really? Just to point out 2 on the last page, Mr QL and Jenkinsbomb. Dude, you need to stop overreacting to other people comments. Some people have a hard time understanding people get upset or feel pessimistic after terrible and I repeat TERRIBLE losses such as the one we suffered today. I guess that's why we can't have a vent thread anymore. I hate it when people feel the need to say how much "better" of a fan they are on here for whatever reason.
  9. 2010 Brewers: It doesn't matter how many runs you score
  10. 2010 Brewers: Epic Fail im so ticked off i wasted an afternoon watching this
  11. I have a hard time believing we'd get much value for Prince if we did decide to trade him honestly. Who's going to trade the farm for a guy that they have no chance in resigning or could just wait to sign later? I'd almost rather take my chances in free agency with the crowded market for first basemen(the Yankees already one and maybe out of the market as well) than a bunch of junk prospects like we'd probably get. If we're serious about showing him the money(like 5 years 125 mil like someone else said or whatever) I think we can compete in the open market. He ain't getting 180 or 200 mil no matter what Boras say he's looking for. Big whoop if we don't have the flexibility to sign awesome free agent pitchers like Doug Davis or Randy Wolf because of it.
  12. Bide his time until Letterman retires maybe
  13. I wish he would of went to fox but at least he's back on TV.
  14. Yeah but they dont have their DH. Would the Yankees spend 200 mil on a DH? Especially when there is other options out there. I think we're in good position to stretch this out. No need to get worried yet I think.
