  1. Anyone left that thinks Yost should be back next season? He should be gone now. .500 and tied with St. Louis now. Cubs going to put us away next series. Don't even rush Ben back, we need him next season.
  2. 10 runs in the first inning first two games here. Still need two more outs too. I think we can call this game.
  3. Nice start. lonely chatroom :-(
  4. I actually think Ned was close to tears.
  5. This is really sad. The guy had so much talent and potential. I always wanted the Bucks to give him shot since he would of fit very nicely on our teams. He could rebound, block shots, shoot 3s. He should of been of something in this league just never got his life together. The way it looks to me is that he committed suicide. He went through the gate and had no identification on him. He had alot troubles in his life including alcoholism. His older brother died 3 months before he entered the NBA. He was a father figure in his life and his career adviser. No way he was ready for the NBA life all by himself so young, he still was a kid. He suffered from depression but was untreated until 2004 where he got 6 weeks of treatment which obviously won't "cure" it. It's sad that despite all the troubles he clearly had that he was never able to get help he needed and stopped a very preventable death. You'd think somebody would have knew he was gone for a week and would of reported him missing or something which I don't believe happened. Says alot about where he was in his life I guess. Hopefully he's found peace.

  7. 2nd place feels nice. I feel 3rd coming soon too; wonder if that'll feel good. Packer and Badger season is near, yay. Couldn't come sooner enough. Team doesnt deserved to be cheered at all until they win. Maybe it will toughen these babies up for next season.
  8. I haven't kept track but I'm surprised there has only been 4 tropical storms this year. That seems pretty amazing.
  9. Does wanting the manager to be fired make you a bad fan? Absolutely not. Chanting "Fire Yost" on the other hand is more debatable. I wouldn't call it giving up though.
  10. I'd prefer not to become a even worse defensive team. Gross won't bring any more the Corey is bringing now to the plate. Bill Hall on the other hand...
  11. This is great. Haha.
  12. The Cards. It's going to be a race regardless and if we do miss the playoffs I'd MUCH rather it be the Cards. edit:ughhhh, wrote the cubs.
  13. Capuano should retire and take Schroeder's job now.
  14. Cubs will be .5 after tonight probably. Cards closing in too. Can't even win at home now. Pathetic.

  16. Sad team is sad.
  17. I don't think his defense is a liability at all. He's actually made some amazing plays. It's not like he's throwing to a gold glover at 1st either. I see no reason his defense won't improve.
  18. Lee gets only 2 games more for taking a swing at someone. Ridiculous.
  19. Gwynn was on the DL for his hamstring the last time I knew. I was not aware of this. Disregard that. ;-) But yea, if he was healthy then I'd rather have him.
  20. Now who am I going to complain about? http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/frown.gif I don't expect to see Gross that much either so it doesn't make too much of a difference to me. Better by subtraction I guess. I would of rather brought up Gwynn since we could use him without getting him ABs. Now let the storm begin. http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/pimp.gif
  21. Who would buy something like that?
  22. It's been more of the way they been playing lately that has been disappointing. If they don't make the playoffs then yea, it's a disappointing.season after how well they started out.
  23. Silver lining; maybe Ned will get fired now? I doubt it.
  24. Didn't even watch or listen too this game. What's the point? It was going to be a lose anyways. Saw the score on ESPN bottom line; Brewers 4, ROCKIES NINETEEN. At first I ROLF'd then I saw Yo gave up 11 runs in 2.2 innings. WHAT THE HELL?!?!!?!?! Ned is worse than Girardi or Dusty Baker could ever be. Our young pitching will NEVER develope under Ned. He just can't manage pitching AT ALL. He needs to fired, that simple. Why even use Villanueva, Parra, Shouse, Turnbow? Game was over. I really want to see someone come up in here challenge that Ned is a good manager and doesn't deserve to be fired. I'm not even going to type anymore on this until later. Afraid I might get banned or something.
