  1. how much pressure? life or death
  2. And then they'll all be picking the Brewers to win the division and talk about how surprising it after a good start and declare the Cubs dead just like last year... ESPN sucks. Whatever.
  3. Eh rickrolling got played out like over a year ago for me. It's everywhere now, really ridiculous.
  4. He was probably thinking you meant Marvin Williams, at least I hope so. Paul and Deron may be better but I don't think anybody could blame the Bucks for not taking them as Bogut was the consensus #1 pick with people who were uncomfortable with taking a white guy #1 who mumbled about Marvin Williams. Atlanta, if anyone, should get the heat for taking Marvin Williams. They desperately needed PG and already had like 4 SFs and Chris Paul was the surest player in the draft.
  5. Eh, Buzz Williams isn't going to excite or satisfy anyone. At least not me. They can do alot better than that. He might be able to keep one or two recruits but they're not going to make the program so whatever. And I doubt that rumor about Bob Knight being in town was true as he's in San Antonio right now. Still would be awesome but not going to happen.
  6. I wish we kept Vargas and I think that pretty much sums up my thoughts of Bush. I grew tired of him last year and I don't really see him endearing himself to me the rest of this season either.
  7. I wish they would. The Bucks too. It's bugged me for awhile.
  8. No. Never. Packers will always be #1 for Wisconsin. Just the way it is. I do think the Brewers have leg up on the other competition. The Bucks are really the odd man out.
  9. Inland Empire was really weird.
  10. I'd be okay with Larry Brown. I'd like Jeff Van Gundy too. I just don't want a guy who's only been coaching a couple years or some coach looking for a 2nd chance at not sucking which is who we'll probably get.
  11. I'd love Bob Knight, I don't think it will happen but I don't think much bad can come of it. Being such a high profile guy I think the current players and recruits would reconsider if they became shaky about their commitment if they were to get him. He'd have Marquette the talk of college basketball and really excite the town. But like I said, probably not going to happen. Cool to think about though.
  12. I've always believed in Bogut. Too talented of a guy with more than enough physical gifts to fail in the NBA. I think he's going to continue improving his game too, this isn't his ceiling. If he could get a consistent outside shot which he hit college I think he really could be the 20/10 guy he was suppose to be. Having a PG like Ramon Sessions would help too. Big men take awhile too develop, just have to have patience. I'd like to see them make a commitment to Bogut as "the guy". I'd think we'd fair better than we did this season.
  13. Good to hear.
  14. Get them brooms ready for tomorrow. Hearing "Lets Go Brewers" at Wrigley is pretty sweet. Great game. Really impressed so far.
  15. That is a good point, maybe he doesn't realize that they won't grill him the way those cities media does. They'd be intimidated if anything.
  16. Wonder who Marquette will get to replace him.
  17. look like they're taking the tarp off
  18. I heard some thunder late last night. I wouldn't be too sure about spring being here yet either. Don't want to get sucker punched with another 10 inches of snow. Hope they play, we've waited long enough.
  19. Braun 2nd game 2nd inning
  20. I thought Walsh was going to the Knicks... or going back to the Pacers... Anybody but Rick Sund or Babcock. I'd be okay with Larry Brown coaching. That'd show some commitment to winning. I still believe in Yi. He's a young player with a lot of natural ability with the potential(I'm sure he's already brought in a bit) to be a cash cow/somebody the national media actually know, something this team needs. I'd give him another 2 seasons until I label him a bust or not. Next offseason will be the first one off in years(I don't think he has any national team commitments IIRC) and that was when Yao bulked up. Yi needs to get stronger specifically in the hands. He's always getting stripped. If he could get stronger everything else would fall in line.
  21. Nice start to the season.
  22. I would of had something going to the basket for the last play if I was coaching Davidson.
  23. Yea, political opinions shouldn't have any place in baseball. Can't say I blame the people but that's not the place. Be classy and at least cheer because it's the start of a new season if not anything else.
  24. rofl Bush in the booth
