The limit for FOX is nine appearances per season. That's why when FOX picked up the Brewers/Cubs game, they had to drop a Cubs/Cardinals game later in the season, since the Cubs were already at nine scheduled appearances. The limit for Sunday Night Baseball is five times per season. So far the Mets have had three appearances, while the Cubs have had one. Since it's August, the minimum advance notice is two weeks. ESPN has to pick the April and May Sunday night games before the season starts. Then for June and July, they must select games a minimum three weeks before the date, and for August and September, it's two weeks. Besides Mets/Cubs, that weekend also has Angels/A's and Indians/Twins, which are possibilites as well.
