  1. Oooh, Roenicke's "mean" face! Wouldn't scare a lost puppy.
  2. I don't think the heart of our order scares anyone right now. I hate how much it feels like I'm watching them just go through the motions out there when they're scuffling, even though I know (or at least hope) that isn't the case. The fan in me would like to see someone blow up over a bad call and get run, just so I know they still care. Cheap thrills I guess, if nothing else.
  3. Aoki hasn't really impressed either thus far. Usually puts up tough at bats, but there not so much. Why do I keep watching?
  4. Ishikawa on the other hand is treating Arroyo appropriately
  5. The sad part is Arroyo looks very hittable tonight. Even more hittable than usual.
  6. That is a question I would love to know the answer to. This team makes my head hurt. And heart.
  7. If not for this ump, I would actually feel decent about getting back into this game. But if Iassogna is going to let Arroyo live well out of the zone, we don't have much chance.
  8. Just throw your pitches shoulder high or a foot inside and you will quit getting shelled Marco.
  9. I was thinking the same thing about Sveum. I miss him pretty much every day. Imo, he should still be our manager. Keep up the good work marco!
  10. Is Dan Iassogna even for real right now? 2 of the worst ball/strike calls I've seen all year in the same inning too!
  11. Agreed! I've tried so hard to like Roenicke and I've given him many second (and third, and fourth) chances (see starting Kotsay in CF, EVER) but if he now refuses to start Green consistently at 1st I am done with him. Even if he was dead set on starting Ishikawa at 1st tonight, NOBODY could benefit more from a day (or three) off right now than Weeks, so he easily could've started Green there. I'm so beyond frustrated with Roenicke right now, and I have been one of the more neutral people in regards to him on here.
  12. Roenicke said Gomez probably only needs a week or so but he didn't want to play short handed. So I would imagine Gomez will be back as soon as he's eligible to come off the DL
