    Its a shame the worst team in baseball right now hasn't played the brewcrew more... but I can't imagine that they'll be getting any better with a new manager half way through. what happened to the reds btw... they were very solid the last 2 years. what happened to bronson arroyo in particular? he really is having a bad year compared to last year. i have a feeling they are going to start dealing a big name or 2 before the deadline. like a griffey or dunn. either way i look forward to the brewers pounding on them a little on the second half.

    There were 2? why 2? only one was on display at the stadium right? I wish I could find an article about this... like if they are on display where and how much they were sold for.

    Kind of along these lines is what is the deal with the old beer mug from County? I thought I read once that its just sitting in storage or something. Are they just going to keep it hidden forever? They need to put that baby on display! During one of Bill Simmons recent espn chats he said he wasn't going to take the Brewers serious until they bring back the beer mug for Bernie to slide into. I found that rather humorous.

    I agree completely, but you know ESPN analysts are going to talk about it...on a side note Abreu's performence was insane that year. He hit 24 homers in round 1 and 41 overall. Prince would definitely be smashing them into McCovey Cove.. and I'd love to see it. He could get himself some more national attention on his run at the nl mvp.

    Anyone know when they announce who will be in the HR Derby? Even though they say the derby can mess with a guy's swing... alla Bobby Abreu 2 years ago. I would still love to see Prince participate. I would put money down on him winning, and it would be a lot of fun to see.

    I don't feel I'm exaggerating when I say Tony Gwynn has put on 100 + pounds since he first started in the bigs. He looks close to 3 bills right now.

    Haha, did anyone see how empty the stands were in Florida? Wow, Marlin baseball is in serious trouble if they have that bad of attendence for a Sunday afternoon game in extra innings.

    I think this trade is worth is for the simple fact that now there will never be confusion with referring to "Cappy". There is only one "Cappy", and I'm glad the "Cappy" imposter is gone.
