I forgot how much Ron Darling annoys me. -
I'm about 99% sure BA does that kind of stuff intentionally. He ALWAYS says specifically what's going on with things like that, whether it involves the Brewers or not.
-
He's probably going to have to throw 140 pitches to get it.
-
That's the point though. Wolf isn't a great pitcher, and it's not like he throws a knuckleball or some crazy pitch only certain catchers can catch. Couple that with the fact Kottaras clearly isn't healthy and it's idiotic to have Kottaras in there.
-
It's like the baseball gods know that Wolf was lucky his first two years with the Brewers, so they've corrected that in two short months.
-
He really doesn't seem to like the idea of Green at second does he.
-
Nothing like a leadoff walk to a guy with a 4.9% walk rate.
-
Why would it be another night game tonight when the Brewers have to come back home for the weekend?
-
I really wouldn't want to give up whatever it would take to get him, provided the Brewers even had whatever that was.
-
No kidding. I've watched the trailer about 8 times and I get giddier every time. I'm also excited for the wide release of Moonrise Kingdom, which I think is tomorrow? Also, while it's not the summer, there are a ton of great movies coming out in the fall and winter. The Master (Paul Thomas Anderson), Django Unchained (Tarantino), new Bond movie, Abraham Lincoln biopic with Daniel Day-Lewis, The Great Gatsby, The Hobbit, etc.
-
I'm not so sure about that. I can think of numerous times in the past two seasons where Hart has sac bunted, often times when he was batting 5th. Now whether that was his call or Roenicke's I don't know.

Random MLB News And Discussion 2012

He is honest to god going to have a heart attack in the booth before he retires. His last moments on Earth are going to be ripping Joe West and he's just going to keel over. -
Hey we should have another catcher get injured. Doesn't Jansen know how many bones are in the hand.
-
What's ironic is that for someone who seems to absolutely hate double plays, he continues to take the bat out of Braun's hands to put Aramis in a double play situation.
-
So...much...bunting. What exactly is the point of bunting with Aoki with 0 outs and runners on first and second when you're up two? Best case scenario is he gets it down and they intentionally walk Braun. Ramirez then hits the definition of a double play ball immediately after. It's like RR is trying to catch up with Mattingly or something.

Paul Konerko for the Hall of Fame?

Doesn't it mean that their careers through the age of 35 have been similar, and not their age 35 season? That's what I always took it to mean. -
Two singles and two walks call for an automatic pull? If every manager did this their bullpen would be gassed by July.
-
^Sutton's still their PBP guy, right? I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.
-
Just curious, who are the other 2? Hopefully Gibson isn't part of that.
-
Can't wait until Braun's put in harm's way because of Gibson's old school-ness.
-
Nice reaction Upton. All the more reason to like the D'Backs franchise.
-
Pretty sure I heard several "Luuuuc's."
-
It's not still because of the Rickie Weeks over Justin Upton thing, is it? Aside from the usual trash talking about Braun, what do Arizona fans say to you guys? "Hey, you beat us in a very closely contested 5 game series last year, we don't like you!"
-
What do you think we have in Aoki?

I feel like at best his arm is as "strong" as Morgan's. Which is to say he has a weak arm. -
I suppose it's impossible to know, but that looked about as intentional as it gets. Carrasco didn't seem to put up much of a fight other than a sheepish look toward the ump.
