  1. I’m not sure what your point/suggestion is? I agree that Henderson (when back from injury), and Gasser/Crow/Sproat/Drohan are likely to give us shorter starts, but realistically if Miz/Woody/Harrison can stay healthy, we only need 2 of those guys in a 5 man rotation. The others would be in the 8 man pen. unless your point is that it would be good to trade for another starter who can give us more length?
  2. Ugh? haslip. Was Justin Harrell (major packers bust) who was injured a ton in college also a Tennessee guy? i pretty much dislike any athlete who has ever attended UT
  3. One minor quibble. His April was actually better than May, though it looks worse for Mar/Apr since his first start was a disaster. but I agree that he has been much better in June. Looking forward to his continued improvement/success in July!
  4. I agree with this take Miz harrison woody henderson gasser/drohan/sproat/crow i still like Patrick better as a rotation piece than Sproat as well. if Sproat could be another Patrick type weapon (throw heat and multiple innings with shut down control) that would take even more pressure off vulture/Abner/trevor
  5. He does have great stuff. It’s his mental fragility and control that can cause issues in a hurry… I’m rooting for him every time he pitches even though I’m still not convinced he’s a long term rotation piece
  6. Fischer, Jett, and Sproat for Skubal
  7. It’s one game. When he gets his ERA below 4, I’ll start taking him seriously has a starter. He’s got great stuff for sure, but we’ll see if he’s got it upstairs over the weeks/months ahead.
  8. It’s one game. He’s earned another start, but I’d like to see more :)
  9. For the 7th inning for sure. great job kid. Easily the best game of your young career so far
  10. This team is just epically bad right now. Atleast the offense for sure
  11. Calling it 8-3 Brewers tonight. Perkins with another HR sproat makes it 3 2/3
  12. I never understood the Dame hype. He has the Blazers on the cusp of the finals once and scored a ton in Portland, but he never struck me as more than the 2010s version of Jerry Stackhouse
  13. Isn’t Murphy a big fanboy of his saying “his manager loves what he’s been doing for us?” ole Murph would have loved Jamie Navarro
  14. This! Maybe he can be an opener type for somebody. Give us 3 innings and then out
  15. Another reason why having Portland’s picks (I know that wasn’t an option) would have been so much better. oh well, the whole thing is a crapshoot.
  16. Unfortunately those picks we traded will probably be top 5 (our own) for the next couple years. For Jrue (and the title) it was worth it. For Dame, meh. what years (in the next 5) do we actually own our own pick? Not until 2029? Or even later?
  17. Tyler Herro is equally punchable at Grayson Allen. Trade him For a couple firsts if you can
  18. Can’t say I’m impressed. Feels like we could have done a lot better last year, but when everybody knows you must trade Giannis, the going rate goes down.
  19. That defensive play by Ortiz to end it was crazy good. I absolutely hate it when he bats, and hate it when he makes his errors, but then he makes crazy plays like that. still, it would be nice to have him as a “super sub” and not have to rely on him as a starter
  20. What are you saying, we buried Woodruff to limit his innings? After Woody’s last time out I thought his career was done for sure.
