  1. They talked about it in the 8th inning. Said today was really decreasing the magic number by 3 since we could win, cubs would lose, and we’d win the tiebreaker
  2. Great team effort today. gasser, Ortiz, Lara, Uribe, Jackson, Yeli looks at Hamilton…. No, not you! (Blue)
  3. Bases loaded… it’s go time Yeli We are the only team in baseball without a grand slam this year
  4. Our offense has been especially bad with two on and nobody out. Strike outs looking, leaving three bunt attempts foul, grounding into a double play… It reminds me of a football team that is posting a shut out through 3 1/2 quarters, and then inexplicably they decide to play defense for the last five minutes and give up 14 points. Play aggressive until the game is over
  5. As I said…. R-E-L-A-X !!!! suck it Cubs fans
  6. The cubs fans in attendance just sounds incredibly annoying on the radio broadcast
  7. I disagree. I think the Brewers have looked fantastic at times versus the Cubs, Dodgers, and Braves… problem is, we’ll play 2-3 stellar games and then a couple stinkers
  8. Feels like this will be a 3-2 brewers win on a walk off 2 run PH home run from Baiwes in the 9th
  9. Yes miz, Henderson, Harrison, Gasser, Priester is my guess
  10. Here is where I’m at #1- we need to be the goldfish. There have been numerous frustrating moments in an overwhelmingly positive season. Murphy does some ******* crazy stuff, simple mistakes that if we used common logic we could easily avoid that have cost us games, but we still have the best record in MLB #2- playing meaningful baseball until the very end of the regular season may be in our best interest to stay sharp. As long as we stay in position for the 1/2 seed, we’ll get our rest before the divisional round #3- our GM has to be better. There are some unplayable players on the roster right right now (Hamilton, Frelick), and there are some tired guys who have given it their all (Bauers, Bill) #4- we have 18 games to go. To finish with a top 2 seed, we probably need to go 12-6 or better. That starts today. While we likely are in little danger of losing the division, we need to go a minimum of 4-2 this homestead…. We still have tough roadtrips to Pitt and Philly. I want nothing to do with San Diego in the wildcard round #5 looking at the next three weeks: - secure the 1/2 seed - give Turang rest against lefties - Ortiz plays every day - send Naylor/Frelick down and recall players that can actually help us - Lara and Pratt plays every every day if Hamilton plays, it should only be to give Turang a break against LHP, and he should be subbed out as soon as we knock out the starter. #6 just win
  11. I’m getting really disappointed that the Packers have not formally cut Jacobs yet. Just looks really poor for the organization. if reports are true that his assault of his girlfriend is on video, and the team/NFL has this video, and the team has not taken action, that is pretty damning
  12. This! We have what, Ortiz/Pratt, Vaughn, and Lara on the bench. I would have PH for all 3 if Murphy can’t be smarter than this…
  13. Good grief Hamilton. Send him down, DFA him, whatever, absolutely awful today edit: Frelick too
  14. Not a great start. Yelich has been better of late… but why not leave him at 6th or 7th. aside from his first series back, Frelick has not done anything this year. If he’s going to play, should also be lower in the lineup. that said, you take Vaughn, Lara, and Wild Bill out and our lineup is going to look less than optimal no matter what
  15. I am looking forward to being wrong, but I still don’t see Fischer as a MLB starting caliber player
  16. Looking at the radar, I’m wondering if this is going to be something they will be able to get in in between the storms
