I don’t have any reason to believe he ever did it right. As far as I’m concerned, he was on roids his whole career. He doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt.
i get there were a lot of cheaters in that era, but it pisses me off that massive Frauds like Bonds, Clemens, Sosa, McGuire, etc weren’t dealt with more swiftly and harshly.
I get people make mistakes, but these clowns made a mistake every day of their playing career and never took ownership or accountability for how bad they damaged the game.
luckily the league seems to take baseball’s credibility more seriously now and doesn’t tolerate blatant cheating, nor scumbags like Roberto Alomar
