  1. I’d probably be willing to trade Sproat or Gasser, both of whom have potential, but really haven’t put it together yet. Not sure I’d be willing to trade from the Big 4 though - Miz, Harrison, Henderson, Drohan.
  2. I agree that Yeli had a good game today, but his game on monday was awful ( I was there in person right behind home plate)... lots of weak contact. But I will definitely give credit where due, Henderson, Yeli, and Ortiz won the game for us today
  3. How much do you think Bauers will get? I'd rather give Bauers 3/$36 or something like that than give Vaughn 1/$10 to be a part-time player. I get $10M isn't much... but we're paying $10M for a 1/3 player who continues to show he is unplayable versus righties.
  4. at $7M already this year... I think Vaughn may become a non-tender candidate for next year. No way do I want to pay $10 million for a part-time streaky hitter who can't play defense other than 1B.
  5. Three moves #1- DFA Sanchez and bring in Haase #2- Fischer, Sproat, and Jett to Detroit for Skubal #3- Some non top-20 prospects for a solid left-handed reliever
  6. Chourio is a special player... but really struggling for sure
  7. Fischer for Skubal or Ryan would make me happy, along with a long term deal with Made
  8. I read these week that market short selling is reaching all time highs (assuming I understood the article correctly) sign of a correction coming, or just more wild speculation in a market that keeps making small moves up and down but that has been largely flat for quite some time?
  9. I got the impression he was hitting the “rookie wall”, and had some fatigue and we were looking to limit innings. i know he’s not a rookie, but this has been his first sustained success and his previous innings high was 124 in 2024… if best case, we’re going to get 150-160 innings from him (already at 83), let’s make those count. if we have effective Miz and Harrison in the playoffs, we are going places (assuming Henderson would be #3) if we’re starting Gasser or Sproat in the playoffs, we’re probably not going to advance.
  10. Burn the film, onto the next game… but man that was a stinker
  11. I’ll say it again. DFA him already and bring in Haase. Sanchez just doesn’t bring value to this team.
  12. Double secret stealth planning… maybe we are going to announce multiyear deals for BOTH right after we trade for Skubal, Ryan, and Witt (blue)
  13. I wonder if we'll be able to get Knaak and Hill below slot... For us to get Bell (and sign Knaak & Hill), that probably will eat up the majority of our remaining pool, not leaving much to go over $150k for the remaining draftees in Rounds 11-20
  14. I really want Bell... so with Garcia and Strosnider now signed, I hope he is the priority...
  15. Sproat really dug himself a hole early, but hopefully his June/July turnaround continues... 3.55 ERA 33 IP 25 H 13 ER 12 BB 35K 1.12 WHIP can really help us He was pretty awful in March-May though
  16. I do also. Given the time of year it seems like a pretty straightforward decision. For the high school guys that have been drafted, they really have three options - college NIL - try to improve their draft slot over the next 3 years - sign for pro ball I would imagine not much will change, so I might as well make a decision or get off the pot. I seem to recall something called draft and follow from your past, but I’m assuming that doesn’t exist anymore
  17. If we are going to trade for someone and he ends up being available, I think Joe Ryan would be my first choice
  18. How long do we have to sign our prospects? A couple weeks?
  19. didn't catch that. The radio guys did say tonight was a planned “short start”
  20. Could be, but I think I’d be less excited (than if it was Made). Then again, the Brewers look pretty good on Pratt and Lara thus far. pretty much an unlimited amount of young talent we could lockup in this organization.
  21. Not a bad Brewers debut. Will we get a second inning, or a handoff to Anderson?
