Under BCF’s definition of defense, Vaughn is “solid” at 3B I like Hamilton and he definitely has a role with this team, but he should not be starting more than two games per week, period. And in the late innings of really tight games, Ortiz should be playing third base and Pratt at shortstop, regardless of who started the game. Hamilton is on thid team for his base running and to give Ortiz and Pratt a day off each week. If we use him for that role, he will be successful. if pancakes keeps starting him 5 times per week, he’s a negative WAR player for us

Heck of a job by Gasser last night. He has really struggled this summer but he was definitely our mvp last night. solid Work to pick up a game on the Dodgers that we lost the night before. Should be a fun one tonight with the miz going. Big time pitching matchup for the Braves and the Dodgers as well.

No excuse for Hamilton to be playing tonight. If we want to talk about accountability, Murphy should come down on Bunty who has been awful lately.

what a trainwreck tonight.... I've never seen a team (franchise) consistently have bases loaded no outs, or runners at 2nd/3rd no outs, and then fail to score. I would guess the odds of scoring atleast 1 run with runners and 2nd/3rd and no outs has to be about 95% across MLB

Hamilton is a decent backup who should not be playing more than 2 times a week. he’s not a bad player, but pancakes plays him way too much give Ortiz 4-5 starts at 3B, Hamilton 2, and the problem is fixed

Isn’t the point of the Sunday lineup to give some of your key guys a day off (either in the field at DH or all together) throw Sanchez at Catcher, and Bill at DH, and this lineup becomes much stronger. Yelich has flat out been owned by this Braves pitcher.

Gross… just when I get on a roll giving compliments to Pancakes, he submits this lineup. i guess I don’t have an issue with the Hamilton/Pratt swap, but playing Yelich instead of giving Jackson, Jake, or Bill a day off in the field is annoying.

Yelich has been awful in 19 AB versus Mahle. Hopefully an easy decision to sit him today. i’m hoping for: 2B Turang LF Chourio RF Bauers 1B Vaughn DH Wild Bill C Sanchez 3B Ortiz CF Lara SS Pratt
