Full season customers had a window to go on Wednesday and partial season customers could go Thursday. We opted for Thursday and it was okay. This is the second year they streamlined the discounts (like $15 for any short sleeved T-shirt, $8 for any player shirsey, $25 for a long sleeved t-shirt, $35 for fleece) and while I recognize it makes pricing go a lot faster for staff, I don't feel like the deals are as great as in the past. Still, I found items for myself and everyone for whom I was shopping (rest easy, Kalle!).
The authentics section underwhelmed me. Not that I was in the market for much, but the jerseys were just about all 2023 people, and a lot of them coaches. The game used started at $350 (for Andrew Chafin? I don't want to rep him even ironically). A rack of game issued was $50 each and I opted for the obscure Bennett Sousa and Payton Henry (because one of our cats is named Henry, though not for Payton).
A thing I don't usually see at the sale was some framed photographs for $100. They must have hung in a suite or office area in the park. I noticed one from the 2008 Postseason and thought, aw, nice - and then I realized it was from Game 4, infamous for both thundersticks and Jeff freaking Suppan - so it was easy to pass on that.
Mostly I enjoyed just being at the ballpark. We had a bit of a time crunch and so did not visit the main store.
A miscellaneous thing I noticed was signage indicating to not take the elevator to the terrace level, as the floor up there is being resurfaced.
