  1. The first second I looked at this, I thought it was a joke, as in "When CV is pitching, go ahead and make yourself a sandwich, because when you come back the inning will be over: three up, three down, lead protected." But it's late at night and I'm not thinking straight, so that actually isn't what the topic meant. But, the above statement still pretty much holds true. (not to jinx him or anything)
  2. This is more a lack of Brewers in an article: Crasnick with ESPN lists 26 of the top outfield throwing arms in the league, and Jenkins isn't one of them. It'd be tough to put Jenks in the top 9, but not even honorable mention? sports.espn.go.com/mlb/co...id=2909515
  3. Looks like Sheets is going to end with another quality start. Sweet.
  4. The curve looks beautiful today...keep it up Benny.
  5. Palpatine: "So I threw the Senate at him. The whole Senate! True story." I'm still angry Yoda lost that fight. But, hilarious line and episode.
  6. Plus it's kind of a pride point for us to say we have the pitcher with the greatest pickoff move in baseball. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  7. I would be very sad to lose Cappy. I see no way he gets traded mid-season. I don't know if there will be a limit to Attanasio helping the club in payroll when they need it, but is it too unfeasible to have a Sheets-Cappy-Suppan-Yo-Bush rotation? Maybe unlikely, but I wouldn't complain if it happened.
  8. Feel kinda like a bad fan for saying that, but I do not want him hitting any homers at our park.
  9. Strike out Bonds, then give up a home run. We're still up four, so I actually prefer that.
  10. Brewers! Brewers! Turning up the heat! Brewers! Brewers! Turning up the heat! Come on Brew-ers! I love that jingle, they should play it at games instead of just on FSN.
  11. So, this game is going great. Wow. Seems like we haven't been producing with two outs well, but this inning has been awesome.
  12. So, in terms of stress levels, I would rank that above biking down a steep hill with no hands, but below having to wait in line for a restroom when you have to go really really bad. Basically, that was close. Coco, please settle back in. Ohhh, and Yo just takes a plate of shaving cream to the face, courtesy of Jenks. Nice way to end the night.
  13. Well...I am officially approved to post on this forum. I've been stalking this board for about two years now, finally decided to stop being a lazy bum and join. I've been waiting since pre-game to be approved, so here's my cumulative thoughts so far: FSN playing the clip of Aaron's 715th right before the game was very interesting...can't imagine what the July series will be like vs. SF. Yo walking Bonds was obviously a good call, it's a decent situation to walk him for any pitcher, let alone a debuting pitcher. Corey Hart should really catch that foul ball against the right field line in the top of the 1st, it's his home stadium, you have to know how much distance you have to the walls. And...I love Prince. 2-1 Crew.
