  1. Sometime between 11-2 tomorrow on AM1250 (obviously) Since I'll be at work and probably won't be able to listen, it would be great if someone would tune is and give a recap! thanks in advance! (updated thread title --1992casey)
  2. Just Graduated from Marquette in May Mechanical Engineering Degree Currently work as a Design Engineer for Briggs & Stratton Yard Power Products
  3. good point TLB, hadn't thought of that...
  4. Ahhh, it does actually http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif 28 games catching, 1 at first 1 pinch hit AB, but I dont know if they won that game or not...
  5. he's started 29 games. I believe the team has lost only 6 times in his starts, so 23-6 it might be a game off, but that's my off the top of my head response
  6. In a normal Wednesday Night game followed by a Thursday Day game situation, Estrada would catch tonight and Miller would catch the day game. With DD on the mound tonight, any chance they switch it? Miller has caught DD dozens of times and I think it would be to the Brewers advantage to let Miller play tonight. Who do you think gets the start tonight?
  7. I also feel bad asking wOOgie for more and more stuff... But since you have a tracker for NL Central Teams already, I would love to see the tracker including NL teams that are fighting for division leads and the wild card. I guess for me personally, I would like to see the pitching match-ups for the dodgers, padres, diamondbacks, mets, and braves games - especially the padres, dodgers and mets. If that's too much work (which i understand if it is, lol), how about replacing the hopeless NL Central teams like the Reds, Pirates and Astros with the NL West, East, and Wildcard Leaders??? The NL tracker is nice, but I no longer care about the Reds for instance and would rather see team match-ups that have a bigger impact on the brewers. Thanks in advance for any consideration, and if anyone agrees with me or disagrees, please share your thoughts
  8. i'd be willing to bet $50 that Prince is a faster runner than J.J.
  9. I'm just glad that we've had enough amazing games that we can debate about certain games (Miller's 2 great games, the NY blowout, etc) not making the list!!!!
  10. Bernie- I will be at MP on Saturday. Myself, about 12 cousins/friends, and a few more family members will be tailgating starting a little after 3:00. I'm sure we will be parking in the general parking lot on the north side of the freeway (There will be a bunch of balloons on a few of our cars). Everyone in our group will be bringing their own food and drinks(Beer), and there will also be some tailgating games going on as well (bean bag toss, ladder golf, etc). To go along with what u said, my favorite Brewers are Jenks, JJ, Sheets, Prince, and Shouse (lol) Many of us are very into Brewers baseball, and I always hanging out with knowledgable fans. I'm 23, and my friends and cousins will range from 21 to 28. If you are interested in stopping by for a bit or hanging out till gametime (I never miss a pitch), let me know and I'll let you know how to get a hold of me. Either way, have an awesome time - the weather should be great, and hopefully Suppan will get back on track and get the 2nd half off to a great start! -A.J.
  11. "I hadn't realized that Pujols hasn't homered since June 14. Maybe that was in the back on LaRussa's mind, too." I doubt that had anything to do with it, especially when Pujols seemed to somewhat find his homerun swing during the derby. What concerns me as a Brewer Fan is Pujols being angry and probably feels like he has something to prove coming out of the gates in the second half. I could see him ripping off 8+ homers to close out this month...
  12. I dont know how people on this site will take this, if they care at all, but was anyone else completely p.o.'d when an 11 year veteran in mlb cant speak enough english to do a 30 sec interview. he needed an interpreter??? i rooted for the guy until i saw that crap. if u are going to come to this country and play baseball and earn tens of millions of dollars, the least u can do is learn the language well enough to give an interview. i dont care if he wants to do his interview for espn deportes, fine. but be able to speak on your own to reg espn and the AP. maybe that doesnt bother anyone, or maybe u think i have no right to complain about this, but it really got under my skin
  13. I rooted for Vlad... until I found out he cant even speak english without an interpreter. that's rediculous.
  14. 1st round totals carry over to round 2. the 2 guys with the most HR's in R1 and R2 combined makes the finals. Last year, David Wright hit like 16 in round 1, but only had 2 in round 2. in previous years, his big total from rd 1 wouldn't have put him into the finals. Howard was 1 out away in the first round from being eliminated, but he hit like 4 in a row to barely make it to round 2. a huge round two put him in the finals. I like this format, because I think it gives a guy like Prince a better chance of making it to the finals...
  15. good. i'll be keeping my eye on him tonight and tomorrow night to see if he is in fact deserving of the first half NL MVP award that Jayson Stark gave him yesterday...
  16. With 7/8 decided, these are my current Predictions: After R1: Prince 9 Howard 8 Pujols 9 Morneau 7 Maggs 12 Rios 4 Vlad 9 After R2: Prince: 14 Pujols: 18 Maggs: 19 Vlad: 15 R3: PUJOLS: 7 Maggs: 6
  17. that promotion ended last weekend unfortunately
  18. Count me in too please! Thanks a lot dude
  19. i immediately closed my gameday coverage after they were down 4-0. im not saying im mikvan or anything, but for our sake i wont turn it back on for the rest of the game...
  20. Suppan has had a few good starts since then, with his start in Detroit being one of them. But still overall VERY frustrating...
  21. Next Update on AM 620 is at 12:35. unfortunately, I wont able to hear it, but I'm hoping they say it will start around 1. If anyone hears an official word, please let us know.
  22. July 18th is my guess Holy Crap do the brewers have a favorable schedule this month... all i can say is that this is their month for the taking. 17-8 to close out this month isn't a stretch at all, putting them to 23 games over .500 at 65-42. that puts this division out of reach
  23. here's my guess 1. reyes 2. beltran 3. fielder 4. bonds 5. griffey 6. wright 7. utley 8. martin and my roomates: 1. reyes 2. utley 3. beltran 4. bonds 5. fielder 6. griffey 7. wright 8. martin predictions???
  24. Does anyone know when the players for the Derby will be selected, or rather invited??? I'mm assuming Prince will get the invite, but I'm not sure if I would want him to do it. Many players lately have had a poor second half after participating in the HR Derby, which is why i'm nervous about him participating. But then again, Ryan Howard won it last year, and we all know how his second half led to winning the MVP... Then again, I would love to see Prince hit about 40 balls into the cove... (Updated thread title --1992casey)
  25. 36 pitches and counting... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif edit: run scoring play!!!!!!!!!!!!
