    I have no idea why mlb.com wouldn't stream it especially with their contractual obligation to do so (otherwise 620wtmj.com should have it). I'd email mlb.com, but some low-level tech would be like "oops sorry for the error" or "heh we forgot the laptop" or something.

    i'm listening to the padres webcast of cubs-padres so that's better than nothing

    so apparently mlb.com isn't streaming the game at all.

    The volume is extremely low. About half the normal volume for online streaming media. The commercials are normal volume, though. Annoying for listening at work because that means normal computer sounds are amplified to unnatural and startling heights.

    Ugh, kind of jumped the gun on that one. I read the Wiki article before it was re-edited and wrongly assumed it was substantial (which it still may be).

    Just heard it on the Cubs broadcast; Sveum is acting manager. Hopefully this lights some fires under butts in a good way.

    Listening to this game (so far) is a good way to end the work week. I expected a Cubs sweep, and anything more is icing on the cake.

    I think Donald Driver, AJ Hawk, Nick Barnett and Ryan Grant would all be somewhere around #3-#5 if you took a poll of all of Wisconsin and not just the Milwaukee area. Driver especially, with that McDonalds commercial and his other endorsements around the state. I agree that Braun will probably be the state's biggest star until another moderately good Packer replaces him.

    Forgot the futures game was on today, turned it on and saw that Gamel reached base in the bottom of the fourth. I'm glad it's on mlb.tv, too, since I don't have cable. edit: Doug Melvin's on the telecast now talking shop. Nothing we don't already know. Inman's pitching, we traded him for Linebrink.

    I would have left Gagne in. I was surprised that Mota was in, and he pitched somewhere below average and got unlucky with where the balls were hit. Watching Torres for a 3rd straight day, you knew it wasn't going to be good, but there aren't really any alternatives at that point.

    I know this is Mota's inning and the bullpen is pretty fresh, but I wish we would have left Carlos in there since he was red hot and has good endurance. And yes, I thought this before the inning started

    To be fair to FSN, it was really sunny in RF at the time and it was probably hard to see the ball with the glare. They didn't catch Prince's 2nd deck shot either. Uecker said Branyan's landed in the Dew Deck.
