  1. I know I wrote a while back I would check in during my time in maryvale but unfortunately the computer went down before I left, so better late than never right. Had a great time and met some great people along the way. Was kind of dissapointed that during my whole time I only saw about 6 brewer homers (8 games) but the 8th inning the crew had in tucson against the d backs was awesome. Monster shot by jumpin joe dillon with 2 outs. Pretty fun stuff. Even though the crew is obviously getting more popular almost all the players were great. LaPorta was a little arrogant and even though braun is carrying himself like mr hollywood he is really good with the fans. You guys are going to love Cameron in centerfield. Maybe not his strikeout total but he covers so much ground out in center and is real charismatic off the field. Looks as if he still really enjoys playing the game. Additionally the people wearing crew gear at away games was outstanding, much better away crowds than last year. Got tons of autographs, pretty much everyone but Jason Kendall but he shouldnt have been too hard to get if I would have tried harder. Even though I realize its just spring, Suppan is the same old inning eater as last year. I didnt expect him to change and he sure didnt. Got roughed up pretty hard in 2 starts. I havent been able to read much on the boards lately but I would be really dissapointed if Parra, Vargas and Villanueva dont make the opening day squad (with Gallardo on the dl). I got to talk to Melvin a couple days and brought up the pitching situation. He basically said that at the end of the day these guys will decide their own fate. Other random thoughts... LaPortas got some serious power, Escobar is going to be a real nice shortstop in the majors, billy hall isnt as smooth as you want him to be at third yet, and as you all know ricKKKKKy weeKKKKKKs is looking real real bad at the plate. Out trip ended up on Saturday when we waited to try and get a picture with Ueck (waited an hour and nothing) and sat and talked with Gantner for 10 minutes as he waited for his wife to pick him up. Fun guy. If any of you have never made it out to Scaryvale start saving for next year because it is definetely baseball heaven. If anyone has any questions shoot em over. Picture links and hopefully a video of Gallardo throwing off the mound the other day to follow.
  2. no bobbles please but anything else is cool
  3. open to anything. I have a ton of Packers stuff though but anything would be great. I do have a ton (pretty much everyone) of the current Brewers on baseballs and helmets but shoot me an offer.
  4. Got a few extra minis signed by Prince and Braun along with a bunch of otherstuff for trade if anyone has interesting offers or opening day tix.
  5. Sounds good Valpo, Ill be there early both saturday and sunday (am going to maryvalle for the ss on sunday). Ill probably be sporting my fresh prince of milwaukee t-shirt or a tshirt that says "sheeter yovanni prince r.o.y. ueck and jj with a brewer logo.
  6. 3 days until lift off!! Needless to say I am extremely excited. Be sure to check out my posts starting saturday for some pictures. Go Crew
  7. You definetely dont want to step foot outside of your car in Maryvalle unless your at the park. I think last year I saw a cockfight 2 blocks away in some guys front yard.
  8. Just thoght I would take a shot in the dark here to see if anyone had a ticketcode or just plain tickets they are willing to sell. Im a huge fan and wont be able to pony up the cash that these tickets are going for. Thanks for any help.
  9. I need to disagree with most of you and say that I really like the old school uni's on Fridays. The whole celebrating 25 years since we finished in second place was bad. But the pinstripes and the old logo is great on fridays.
  10. Im pretty new here but has anyone ever found video of this anywhere on the internet? I would die if I could see that clip
  11. I didnt win either but would love tickets if anyone is willing to give a guy a code. Too much to ask? Probably
  12. I had a few posted last year and will be happy to get some on here again this year. I will be down there for 7 games so I should be able to get some good stuff on here.
  13. I caught the final half inning on the radio tonight and am not sure I heard the right thing from Uecker. Powell said something to the effect of, "if the Brewers continue to win and things go well this is probably a game we will look back on as the turning point." I believe I then heard Uecker say "We dont have to worry they wont win." He then went on to explain that the players were upset that he sung the 7th inning stretch because it fired up the Cubs and their fans and leading to a Cub rally and win. Did anyone else hear this? Does anyone else know the story on what players spoke up and were upset with Mr Baseball? Thanx for you help guys. Its hard for me to believe Ueck would turn sour on the Crew but Im pretty sure that is what he said. Excessive punctuation in title - b19
  14. Tahnks for the reply. I think Im going to go and line up about 3 hrs early. Hopefully that should be enough time. As for the poster, I would definetley entertain any trade offers ( I wouldnt sell it seeing as I got the autographs for free and wont sell anything I didnt pay for). I got the poster years and years ago at shopko on clearance for $1. Dont I wish now that I picked up a bunch. It is laminated and in pretty good shape, other than a few small crease marks. Id be happy to send ya a pic after I get it graphed by Robin tomorrow. Take it easy and go Brewers!!!!!
  15. I am going down to the game on Tuesday and really need to get Younts autograph (I have Molitors graph on the old school Brewer Batman and Robin Poster). Gates open an hour and a half before and Yount will sign for 45 mins down the first base side. So........what gate should I go in at? How early do I need to get there to get in line? I was hoping someone who has been to an autograph friday may have some advice. Thank for the help guys!
