Yeah there are quite a few games in a delay now and they're showing the Red Sox-Blue Jays on ESPN now and it's raining there. They're already playing a doubleheader in Boston tomorrow so I think they're trying hard to get this game in tonight. -
Trenni mentioned that the Brewers and the Players Association have to give approval for a Monday game as the Brewers will have played 20 straight days. And yes as the previous poster said Trenni reported CC wouldn't pitch if they played on Monday as Yost wanted him to pitch in the Cubs series.

This team really depresses me. Just when I think they have a great shot to make the playoffs they come undone in September. I'm really dreading the series in Philly. This game tonight is one I thought they had but I guess I should have known better with their bullpen difficulties.

Ok now I can say that was an exciting game - wouldn't have been nearly as exciting if Sheets couldn't have closed that one out. Nice win - sure would be nice to get the series win tomorrow. -

What did the Phillies pitching coach get ejected for? Arguing balls and strikes? I see a coaching visit to the mound and Gameday and then an on field delay and then it says the pitching coach was ejected.

On the tentative schedule for 2008 that they handed out at the end of last season this series was a 3 game one and the one in July after the all-star break was a 3 game one also but for some reason they changed that one to 4 games and this one to 2 games (a co-worker recently told me this as he has that tentative schedule they handed out in 2007).

I always have issues with the self-checkouts at my local Pick 'N Save when I use coupons. I insert the coupon and then it says I haven't inserted it in the slot yet and then I have to wait awhile for an employee to come over. So now I generally avoid the self-checkout lines there if I have coupons.

I don't know the exact detailed rule but for the ESPN2, ESPN and TBS broadcasts I thought it was blacked out in the local area when FSN was broadcasting the game. It's different for WGN (think it might be b/c they don't have national rights) so Brewers-Cubs games in Chicago are shown on WGN in Milwaukee (thought the ones in Milwaukee were blacked out though).
