  1. Someone needs to pound it into these guys heads-- that if a guy has thrown 6 straight balls ---TAKE #7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait for a strike!!!!! Is that a job of a real coach or manager. Fine them.
  2. They brought in a lefty Turnbow--- 6 straight balls and then we start a swinging. Great.
  3. Have the announcers been tipping a few during the game? They don't even know who is coming up. I thought Braun would be leading off.
  4. They would rather strike out Mike than walk him.
  5. Nice job of moving the runner up-----NOT!
  6. Maybe that would be a job of a bench coach/drinking buddy.
  7. Time for some more free Baseball. This might be cutting in the UCLA game.
  8. The term bench coach is like being a drinking buddy.
  9. What has been the value of having Ted Simmons on the bench?
  10. Why not just have two starters per game. One that pitches innings one to four the other five to 8. Then bring in Gagne. Since our starters can only pitch 4 per game.
  11. Tired---Shouse pitched like 4 pitches yesterday. He is a major league pitcher that is going to pitch to one or two guys a day at most. Yost has never used him for more than 1 to 3 lefties.
  12. Exactly my point-- If he has no problem with Gagne, then why the issue with using Shouse????
  13. Agree that there should be more portajohns around the parking lots for tailgaters. What is there, like 2, in the Preferred Lot???
  14. Anybody have a story of the "tailgate police"? Has anybody seen a "police" in the lots looking for non-game (checking for tickets) people?
  15. Hawing-- are you new loge seats in 217? We had season tickets there for 3 years and the seats were great. 1 year we had tickets in the front row. Great chance for foul balls in that section.
  16. For the field level I am sure they get out their feather dusters and polish. For those in the Terrace Level, no cleaning for you. Maybe it is like Hot air, Dirt and dust rises.
  17. Go back there and kick their seat a few times. Then you will have their attention.
  18. So, I had the pleasure of sitting in the last row of the upper deck on Sunday. There is a great view of the ballpark from those seats, but there is one view that is UGLY. It looks like they have not cleaned up there since the ballpark opened. Back by the glass there is dust and dirt inches thick. There are cobwebs from beam to beam. Dirt is caked on the beams. There are old peanut shells from years ago. I am just wondering why the Brewers staff wouldn't want to take a powerwasher to the place and clean it up and make it look like a nice clean ballpark. They had all winter to clean up the place. And in this case they have had about 6 or 7 years. Plus, if you really look around-- the rust is really showing.
  19. Any answer? Do they ever get to face "live" pitching?
  20. Did anybody else see the dog in the stands last night behind home plate? It certainly didn't look like a seeing eye dog.
  21. The new problems of Wise now brings up a serious warmup/practice question. We all know that in the bullpen Pitchers just pitch to the catcher without any batter. Is there ever a time between games that a pitcher will pitch to the catcher with a batter such as Jenkins hitting? Is there ever a time that Jenkins will get to see a 95 mph fastball from Turnbow? We all know that the get the 45 mph practice pitches in bp-- do they ever get to see live pitching outside of a game? How else would Wise overcome his problem besides going down to the Minors? I think his problem comes from Hitting the Red player in the face and now it has become more of a mental problem.
