  1. Hey, where are all the happy faces that we had last week when the Brewers were going to sweep these clowns out of town? 6 and 1 homestand and add a player or 2 plus Holliday and we are WS bound. It sure does suck when reality hits that these guys are really not that good. Plus, it sure does bite when you have a player that went and shot of his mouth in a wrong situation. Bad, bad for the team chemistry.
  2. Does anybody have a stat on the other teams Pitchers BA vs. the Brewer pitchers and how does this compare to other teams? It just seems that other teams pitchers get a lot of hits vs. Brewer pitchers.
  3. Could it be too much "celebration" from the night before??
  4. Since 2003 it has been 3-3 for the World Series winner. 2003- Florida 2004- Boston 2005- Chicago White Sox 2006- St.Louis Cardinals 2007- Boston 2008- Philadelphia so does the HFA really matter?
  5. Funny, that the offense seems to "fall asleep" on the day games.
  6. Roof was closed today and no sun-- what will be the "excuse" today for not scoring runs?
  7. Maybe some of you should just let Macha do the managing and let him worry about if Yo has too many pitches or not. That is what he get paid to do.
  8. 6pm starts-- no problem, that would just eliminate a lot out of town fans and create monster traffic problems. Noon starts on Sunday-- No problem, I guess people can forget about going to church.
  9. Maybe other teams don't know how to do marketing as good-- not enough bobblehead dates for those teams. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. Since we have almost always sat on the 1st base side at CS and now at MP we always take along a jacket or sweatshirt extra even on 90 degree days. It only took one time at CS to learn that what you see outside is not what you get inside. We also were at the May 31 game on the 1st base side, sitting comfy with our extra sweatshirt on and extra jacket on. But too many were shivering with their T-shirt and shorts only. Many resorted to signing up for credit cards to get a blanket. Never, never, never go to MP on the 1st base side without extra clothes. I can remember too many times coming out with a winter coat, gloves and hat on at CS and fans on the 3rd base side would be sunburned and had on T-shirts and shorts.
  11. Why do these games seem to happen on Sunday with time to think about the tough L?
  12. Funny that I didn't even notice what happened after HR's. I would think they would just shower the fans with confetti.
  13. What time will the gates to the ballpark open next weekend on Saturday and Sunday? Is it 2 hours before game time or 1 1/2 hours? Thanks.
  14. Yes, it will be awhile because you just don't flip up the switch with those lights.
  15. Why is it so cool for a bunch of the idiots to go wild with cheering as the lights go out?
  16. So he batted only 1 other time in the Bigs in 1 game with Cincinnati. .083 in the Bigs. And he was going to be something great in the future when he was with the Brewers??? I think we got the better deal with the use of Shouse.
  17. Does anybody know what ever happened to "Young" Enrique Cruz that the Brewers "had" to keep on their roster about 7 years ago? He was going to be the next greatest thing and couldn't be sent to the minors or he would have been lost that year.
  18. It would seem that every Summer/Warm weather Saturday is going to be filled with groups. A tough ticket on Saturday no matter the team the Brewers are playing or the promotion.
  19. It is funny now that the Brewers have all these OV tickets-- I thought when they built Miller park they claimed there was not a Bad seat in the House except for the Uecker seats in the 4th level. Guess not.
  20. There were about 6 porta potties by the line for the tickets. May 3 and May 30 and May 31 were almost sellouts at 3pm. And I think it was the June 28 game that was close to sellout.
  21. Same reason the Final Four is such a Big Deal--- One and Done vs. Best of 5 or 7.
  22. Wow. I must be getting old.
  23. Do we know the date for single tickets? Is it the 28th??
  24. 9/1-- the day the season is over--- Brewers are sunk. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif
