Colby, I wasn't talking about just the recent migration of 3B's, but also the movement of Helena and BC players to higher levels. Maybe it's just me, but I don't recall this kind of movement before.
In the three years or so I've been on this site, I don't remember such a mass movement of players up the food chain. It certainly says something for the last two drafts by Jack Z that we can continually re-load at the lower levels. Now if we can just get that injury free, front line starter prospect.....
ecj, I agree that the Brewers CAN win the WC - it's not likely, but they can do it. But I would never rain on someone's parade if they want to root for it. (I will mock them mercilessly if they get too upset when the Brewers are out of the race, though).
I think Brandon Wood might be the front runner at this point. There are guys in PCL with better numbers than Fielder (Linden for example) but I'm not sure if they'd rate as high as Prince in terms of ceiling. Is that taken into consideration?
So did Sheets hit? MLB.com says Magruder batted with two outs but doesn't say what happened before that. EDIT: Nevermind. I can't believe they let Sheets bunt with Magruder up next.
Why the heck did Brady try to throw out Grudzy at home? The guy was running on contact, it was looping liner, and now there's a guy at second. that was bad.
