  1. Did you guys hear the pre-game on Sunday? Jim Callis was on and said that Seattle may take Clement 3rd which Callis thought opened the door for the Brewers to take Tulowitzki.
  2. Good God Daron's actually singing an ABBA song.
  3. You guys really think Weeks will save this lineup? He's not going to hit .300 (I hope he does, but still....) and who's he going to replace? Hall? He's done a GREAT job so far.
  4. and Melrose Place star Daphne Zuniga goes 4-4.
  5. Yeah, because of his elbow. Got it.
  6. Brewerjamie, I think I'm staying in. I was jazzed up a while ago but my buzz from dinner is gone. Maybe next week sometime.
  7. Yay Brewers. Brewerjamie, you headed to Brady St tonight?
  8. I think there were several points to Team America and as usual the South Park guys were pretty even handed in dissing both liberals and conservatives. The soundtrack alone is one big slam on machismo minded righties- America, **** Yeah! is hilarious. And most of the slams on Hollywood were well deserved. Not to mention the sex scene which had me rolling for about ten minutes. Yes, I'm depraved.
  9. City of God I highly recommend this picture. It's the story of a gang of Brazillian criminals as they rise from youngsters growing up in the projects to ruling the slums of Rio. Excellent cinematography and some really stunning moments even more impressive given the group of amateur actors used in the movie.
  10. Holy Hart! 5-5 night for the lanky slugger. Avg is now at .271.
  11. I was big on Zimmerman, but I think I'd rather have Maybin at this point. Either one would be fine with me though.
  12. BA's latest update has the Brewers high on the Braun, the Miami 3b, if Zim and Gordon are both gone.
  13. Moeller has shown a propensity to hit in his career, but at this point I think he's too far gone from a mental perspective to get the ship righted. He needs a month or three in AAA to get his head right. I would not release him.
  14. Chad Moeller lost the game for the Crew? No. You're delusional if that's your opinion.
  15. Yr Team W L IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA WHIP K:BB 1998 Wisconsin (A) 6 5 111.1 86 47 40 67 152 4 3.24 1.38 2.27 1999 New Haven (AA) 9 13 134.0 131 77 67 86 162 9 4.50 1.62 1.88 2000 Tacoma (AAA) 5 8 104.0 83 51 46 55 146 8 3.98 1.33 2.65 Here are Anderson's minor league numbers. I'm assuming it's his k/9 ratio that excites people because the rest of his numbers aren't exactly eye popping
  16. Someone had to start a game thread. From ESPN.com's statpack: Milwaukee (19-20) at Washington (22-18 ) , 1:05 pm EDTWASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Livan Hernandez will test his sore right knee on Thursday when the Washington Nationals host the Milwaukee Brewers in the rubber game of their three-game series.Hernandez (6-2) left his last start against the Chicago Cubs in the seventh inning due to an injured knee. He allowed two runs and five hits in 6 2/3 innings in a 4-3 victory.Hernandez has won his last five starts, allowing 11 earned runs in 37 1/3 innings over that span. The Brewers will turn to Victor Santos (1-3, 3.18 ) . The righthander allowed two runs and seven hits in four innings against Pittsburgh in his last outing. Santos is 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA in two career appearances against the Nationals. After collecting only three hits in Tuesday's 8-2 loss, the Nationals edged the Brewers, 1-0 on Wednesday. Jeffrey Hammonds' one-out single with the bases loaded in the ninth inning plated the game's only run.
  17. I was lookg at CV's stats in the player index and it lists him as having 9 earned runs. BA has him at 8. I believe BA is correct as the ERA they show (2.00) is the same as that in minorleaguebaseball.com .....but then again, maybe they are both wrong. Anyway, just thought I'd point out the discrepancy.
  18. I can't argue with your decision given the number of warnings he was given (and I think you temporarily banned him before, yes?). There are always going to be times when one's opinion is questioned (or chastised) we just need to know when to leave a thread alone. More often than not they die a quick death on their own.
  19. Bjames, Is it that hard for you to just leave this thread alone? It will die a quick death if you just don't open it again.
  20. I doubt Lee will be beaned, but the media will probably make a big deal out his slide during pre game and when he's up to bat. In a way, I kind of hope he charges the mound. Lee vs. Zambrano would be a pretty good fight. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  21. Are you counting CS among Brady's bad baserunning? If so, I think that's a little unfair. He shouldn't be getting the steal sign at all.
