    Mike Jones cruised through his 3 innings tonight as he is on a 3 nning or 45 pitch limit. Jones faced the minimum through three and I believe struck out 1. Housman is getting ready in the bullpen as it doesn't look like the 3 inning limit will be pushed even though he is under the pitch limit through 3.

    Stars win 3-2. Mobile scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th, but Woolard hung onto the lead for Costello.

    2-0 Stars going to the top of the fifth. Raburn (no I am not kiddin') hit a dong in the forth. I have been in and out but from what I gather to this point Weeks is 0-1 with a HBP to start the game (he's fine), Fielder 0-2, Nelly 0-2 w/ 2k's, and Jr. is 1-2 with a single and a SB.

    Going to the top of the third in game one Huntsville is up 1-0 on a Belcher homerun in the top of the 2nd.

    I don't have a problem with that play Yost put on with Sheets. He tried to catch LA off guard and it almost worked. Slightly better contact by Ben and the play may have worked. And considering the recent struggles this team has been having coming up with clutch hits, why not. Scotty is really scuffling as of late so I don't personally have a problem with it.

    Well, I am pretty certain Counsell will be in the lineup, especially after Billy seem to have some problems last night bunting Scotty over and then getting thrown out twice trying to steal, but I do think Grieve will be in there instead of Brady Clark (thank god).

    No problem here picking up the Stars feed. Not their normal announcer however. The Stars trial 2-0 in the top of the fourth wiith the Jaxs having guys on 1st and 3rd with 0 outs. Again the bats seem to be silent in Huntsville. What gives with the hitters on this team? I will update as often as possible.

    Weeks with an RBI single give Huntsville a 1-0 lead through 3 innings. (Weeks' single scored Chavez who I believe reached on an error)

    I just don't understand how a team that has been struggling to score runs over the past week can afford to sit their hottest hitter. Hall isn't in the lineup again.......and again we trot Ginter and Clark out therehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif . I just don't get it. And to what benefit was it to bring up Corey Hart if he isn't going to get anytime. 5 to 7 days of rotting on the bench isn't doing anything for his advancement. I am pretty sure we could have brought up McGruder or Liefer to do that. Come on Yost.

    I honestly could careless if Ben Sheets ever gets another hit in his major league career. As long as he can get the bunts down and keeps pitching like he has this year that's fine with me. But I do hear what you are saying. I would compare his swing to a 10 or 12 year old stepping in there against a high school senior throwing 85-90. He has that "stepping in the bucket" move perfected! Honestly though sometimes when he does go up there with noone to bunt over, I would just assume he keeps the bat on his shoulder and walks back to the bench. The way he swings the bat makes me nervous when considering his back problem history. I sure do love to watch him throw though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

    From the way Yost sounded while talking to Uecker, I think it is pretty safe to assume we will not be seeing Ben Hendrickson on Saturday. The team is starting Wise today and going with the 3 inning approach due to the expected rain delays. To all of our shagrin I think this all but guarantees Wes starting on Saturday and not Ben,http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

    Square I was just thinking the same thing. Maybe just two innings today as a preparation for a Saturday start for the Crew. Who else is going to make that start...Burba? Let's keep our fingers crossed that that is the only reason he left early.

    Stars up 5-0 in first. Gywnn out (forgot how) Knox Doubles Prince smash single to right Weeks HBP Nelly two run single...........Prince crushes the catcher at home. Announcer said he looked like a fullback going in for a touchdown against a running back. He heard catcher groan in the announcer's booth! Johnson then follows up with a 3 run bomb to left!!!!

    Just an update for those of you interested (that's pretty much everyone), Helena is up 3-0 in the 5th. Draft and Follow signee Justin Barnes with all of the rbi's in the game. The first two coming on a 2 run bomb and the 3rd on a rbi single to center. Steve
